Kitchen Remodel
RWA did a wonderful remodel of our kitchen. They listened to our vision, worked with & improved on what we thought we wanted, & were timely overall. A few minor communication glitches were quickly & positively addressed.

Addition to Existing Structure Building Service
The job was to turn an attached carport into a garage. A seemingly simple project that was complicated by existing surrounding concrete grading issues compounded by the pitch of the driveway running up to the carport. The city insisted on a whole new foundation so the original carport floor had to be removed and rebuilt along with a new foundation that had to be higher than the original carport surface. Despite poor weather last summer playing havoc with the project timeline, a very nice and structurally solid garage was delivered. RWA matched our existing siding, installed the garage and side door as well as providing an overhead storage solution that was tied into the structure reinforcing the outer wall.

I had some yard materials (junk) that I needed to dispose of, so I called Jason, and he came by and previewed what I had and gave me a very reasonable quote. He came by later that evening and loaded everything up in his truck and hauled it away. Simple and fast. Jason and Andrea Castle were very nice and easy to talk to and I would definitely hire him again.

RWA did a wonderful job on my utility room. I had a utility room with uneven walls and cieling. They recontrusted my ceiling, hung new drywall, custom made trimming for my uneven windows and left my room looking the best it ever has. Being a military wife whose husband is away often I reply on peoples expertise to get the job done and RWA did a wonderful job. I would recommend them to my friends, my neighbors, and my family.

Jason and his outstanding crew completely gutted my 1950s bathroom, replacing all the iron pipes behind the wall and under the subflooring and brought the existing wiring up to code. They also added a combination ceiling light/ fan/ heating fixture. Ceramic tile was beautifully installed around the new tub/ shower and on the floor, and a new vanity, toilet, and sconces are in place and functioning perfectly. Jason takes great pride in his work and the work of his crew, and does not take shortcuts. They faced many challenges with this old, non-standard bath, and made it all work out beautifully. I love my new, modern bathroom!

A little over halfway through the project so far (which has ballooned into something muchl more complicated than a bathroom remodel), and I could not possibly be MORE impressed. Jason is on top of every detail, rolls with the punches when unforeseen new issues crop up, and does not compromise on quality at any point in the process. He has vision too and an ability to work "outside the box." He is personable and a joy to have around, and he takes great care in the helpers and subs he brings into our home. Addition to Existing Structure Building Service
We discovered a leak in the addition prior to the end of the project. RWA attempted to caulk it twice which did not work. Then after we had made final payments, RWA sent us an estimate for almost $1000 to fix it correctly. After 4 months of waiting for some remedy to the leak we had our attorney send RWA a letter. We also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau which was the contractual agreement for resolving differences. Meanwhile, after 5 months with the leak we hired a different contractor to fix the leak for $900 and sought to get reimbursement from RWA through the BBB. RWA chose to request an arbitration hearing with the BBB. The hearing was conducted and they lost. We are now awaiting their payment and hoping this will close the issue.

I am very pleased with our kitchen remodel. Jason is a great listener and very in-tune as to what the customer wants. He was honest as to what could be done and what could not be done. Kitchen Remodel
The only thing I did not like was the huge crown molding. The cabinets and countertops are fantastic. Especially love the pull-outs. The crew could have been more meticulous on the clean up. Trash was left in the garage and outside, there were spots of grout on the floor, tile and window ledge. The actual work days totaled six, but was spread out over a three week period. On one occasion was expecting a worker to show up. He had a medical issue and I was told someone would "try to get" to me. Finally got a call at almost 4:00 informing me that no one would come until the next day.

"This kitchen remodel is considered one of the most time efficient jobs we have ever done. The original start date was September 17. We moved the start date forward to September 11. Demolition and base cabinets were set by Thursday September 12, the same day granite was measured. Installation continued through the following week, granite got installed on Thursday, September 19, and the job was complete on Monday, September 23. The trash was neatly in a trash bin and picked up immediately. We even went the extra mile to satisfy the customer's request to donate the old cabinets to Habitat for Humanity. We are so proud of this job! Pics posted!"
