The contractor was in good communication from initial contact to the door installation. The door was of good quality and installed properly. The door and labor cost was $2300. An unexpected problem occurred when the original framing was removed. The original home builder had used a non standard method of framing which is complicated by duct work above the door. The contractor said it would cost an additional $400 plus $100 for a lock set he would pick up. Since he wasn t prepared for this complication, he would have to return with additional materials such as a 1x4 and dry wall. I paid him $1800 which was the balance of the original estimate plus the additional $500 for the required framing. This occurred on March 12, 2026. The next week I called and asked when he could return to finish the job. He couldn t tell me at that time. Over the next two weeks I called but he didn t answer. Since I was going out of town on March 30, 2026, I waited til Monday, April 6, 2026 to try to contact him again. I ve tried several times a day and left messages. I tried to email him a couple of times as well. As yet I haven t received a response.

During the first visit the roof work was completed 60-70 percent, however the work done had a defect which was explained to the provider on his next visit. Full amount for the total work was paid to the provider in cash at the end of first visit. It has been more than 2 months and after the first visit we just keep requesting the provider to come and complete the work every few days and we either do not get a response, or we are told I will let you know when I have free time. In between, there was no response for almost 2 weeks and provider told he had lost his cell phone. After 6 weeks of initial work, the provider come for few hours and completed the drywall ceiling work, however the shed roof work is still pending. We have requested the provider multiple times to check calendar, decide a date and let us know when we can expect the work to be completed. The provider just does not confirm, ignores our messages and does not respond, and if he responds it is always the same that I am busy and I will let you know when I have a free day.

Did a great job. Outcome was as desired. Fenced in back yard with aluminum rail fence. Also installed Simtek panels to an existing fence. Very happy with the outcome. Very communicative with frequent updates during the process.

Jim was exceptionally professional, kind, and understanding. His work is definitely worth the money! So happy with it!

My antique front doors look wonderful, you can once again see the grain of the wood. Jim did an excellent job and restored the locks and door knobs along with trim. When reinstalling the doors , he shined the door plate and door bell on the house to match the knobsâ ¦.above and beyond. I plan to use his services restoring my other doors in the future

Jim responded to all phone calls/texts in a timely manner . Showed up on time and did the job ! Very nice guy ! Would recommend !
