I will again never hire RCS in Milford, OH or Bill Lawwill. I would like to post photos of their work. It is totally unacceptable. The work they did has to be redone, so much is poor workmanship and not done right.

I highly recommend Rachelâ s Cleaning Service. Doug did an exceptional job cleaning the wood stove and stove pipe. Doug arrived on time, very polite and respectful and highly knowledgeable about wood stoves. I will hire them for all my repair and remodel needs.

Team came on time, was knowledgeable and included instruction for my fireplace. We were very happy with overall service and would highly recommend to anyone.

I called RCS to come out to inspect & diagnose a leak in chimney. They found the issue to fix a problem another company caused. They removed a tree branch also without asking. They were great to work with and on-time and professional. Price was very reasonable $90. Based on this successful visit, I went with them for more maintenance resealing and new cap. I find them very honest. They called when it rained to say they could not do the service effectively. Their invoice was great also as they attached pics of the chimney. I look forward to a long partnership with Bill for other projects also. They can do other jobs in the winter.

I told the owner Bill to come and inspect & clean my chimney because I heard something inside the chimney. He and his son came and cleaned and inspected my chimney. He suggested I have a chimney cap installed. When his brother came he installed the chimney cap but then told me I needed some crown work done and I will need 2 more caps because I have 3 flutes. He charged me $200 for the 1 cap and was suppose to come back and repair my crown. He did not call and I wasted a day with a no call and no show. I called to find out what happened and I did not receive a call until 2 or 3 days later. I finally spoke with Bill who stated he did not know what happened. I then explained to him that they missed 2 appointments and he was apologetic which still does not get the work done. I explained to him that he stated the chimney cap cost was $175 and that his brother charged me $200. Bill stated he would mail me the difference and as of today I have not received the difference and it has been over 30 days. I had to request an invoice for the work that was performed. I also asked Bill why he did not tell me I needed 3 caps and he stated he did not get on the roof to look at the chimney he just cleaned it he did not know. This company is not reliable and their communication skills are horrible. They are a family business with no communication. I can not properly rate them because I now have to hire another company to complete my chimney repair and to ensure they installed the 1 chimney cap properly.

Fantastic service. They fixed cracks in my chimney cap and spalled bricks. Great guys...will be hiring them for a chimney clean out and dryer vent clean out soon.

I had them give me an estimate on a basement remodel and was so impressed with their very professional, courteous customer service, that I had them give me an estimate on rebuilding a wall and constructing a closet in a bedroom area. They did excellent work and gave me a few ideas that improved my project and saved me money. They showed up on time, every time. This family operated business was a pleasure to have in my home. I highly recommend them when you are planning and completing your next project.

The communication from this company was inconsistent, with one brother who owns the company and his brother who started the work for us and was then fired suddenly giving us conflicting information and blaming one another for lapses in service. When the brother who owns the company showed up at my door to tell me he would be finishing work his brother had started - and Id only ever met his brother - I asked him to explain what was going on and he stormed off saying Forget it! Keep your money! but then sent me an invoice nevertheless! I would STAY FAR AWAY from this company!!!

Slow to return phone calls

Ask for rate for them just to show up. Normally I do this but did not. Just to show up was high $125. Then charged total of $200 for cleaning the fireplace glass and putting in a new switch. 45 minutes tops.

Cost way more than they are worth. and will damage your home.

On time for appointment. Very detailed. Explained what they were doing and provided before and after pictures.

The two men that came to do the job did a good job. My problem was they came to clean the chimney and that was not why they were here for. I needed a cap to be placed on the chimney to keep the critters out, which they did. They were not informed of how steep the roof was, but the man at Rachel’s was informed of what I wanted and about the roof. The men just did their jobs with no complaints.

They did a great job. Very knowledgeable of the job. Cleaned up very well after they finished cleaning the chimney. Didn't try to oversell me on anything.

Since we were not familiar with gas fireplaces they explained everything to us including lighting, pilot light, etc. very pleased with their service.
