The project took much longer than promised--6 months is a long time for a small kitchen project. The workers were polite and careful, but they seemed inexperienced. For example, they did not know how to install the garbage disposer. Lower cabinets were only okay and did not match the upper cabinets we were able to keep. The original painters were terrible--they used my garage as their spraying area and destroyed many things in it; they entered my home without permission or notice; they broke the glass in the cabinets; they thought they did not need to remove the cabinet doors to paint them. Very unprofessional. We finally told the contractor he had to fire the painters and get someone else, the replacement painters were perfect, but some of the damage had been done We never received a detailed account of what we paid for. Other reviews seem to reflect good results; maybe we were just unlucky.

Ranchhand Construction's owner and crew are highly recommended. They delivered everything they promised from the timely estimate, complete materials list, and timely completion of the job. They are honest, hardworking, and correctly rebuilt the sunroom that was added by the previous homeowner. Our room is better than it was, and we are very pleased with their work. We have already shared their number, and will use them again.

Excellent general contractor for new additions and/or repairs.

Filled an unused vent hole in ceiling drywall, taped and floated, leveled with drywall compound, built a temporary splash shield, then created a Monterrey knockdown texture with a drywall gun and careful trowel work. They cleaned up every speck of debris afterward, making sure I had a good surface to re-paint. Excellent workmanship and care, efficiency, and full attention to our needs. I'm impressed with the first job they've done for us, and will most likely include them in future bids. Very reasonable priciing of the work, too.

On time each day and completed the job in less time than scheduled. The guys took great care in workmanship. I will call Ranchhand for future projects.

Bathroom remodel with removal of garden tub and conversion to dual head walk-in shower. It sure is a pleasure and privilege to work with Mr. Smith and his employees. Quality workmanship, constant contact via phone and email. Any question or concern on my end is promptly and professionally addressed. Excellent design suggestions and support throughout the entire project. I am very fortunate that Mr. Smith and his Ranchhand Construction company is here to improve my quality of life and assist me and my family with work we cannot do. Much appreciated!

We really were pleased with the overall work.

Had a large bathroom remodel done by Ranchhand Construction. Superior service from start to finish. Always available via phone or email for questions, with prompt call backs. Well-written bid and quality design suggestions at the start. His friendly, courtous staff worked on the project every day all day long. Any concerns were quickly addressed, and all work done to our liking in a high quality manner. We will certainly be using Ranchhand for future projects.

Quality work, done in a timely manner

These guys (and Gal) are wonderful! I generally don't like strangers in my home, but, I immediately felt trust and comfort with them. They are very friendly and waste no time on the job. We did have a few scheduling issues, but, I am very happy with the end product. I will use Ranchhand for all my future remodeling jobs!!

Overall fairly good. A minus on communication and a minus on finishing details.

Joey and Michelle are top notch and really went out of their way to make everything perfect. We had some time delays, but I was not a a huge hurry. They were honest and hardworking. Some of their subs were super and one stunk on ice. To Joey's credit, he made everything work out as best he could; Joey got the stone done correctly and handled the sub with a firm hand. I am sure he learned a lesson and will never use him again. The stone guy still owes me a new wheel barrow. Joey was visionary and gasped my idea and made it even better. I would gladly use him again. They get 4 stars rather than 5 because of the stone guy issue.
