You pay professional prices and get laughable results. I made half-down payment in July to get on the schedule for October. He lied to me about a job he said he had to put in front of me and then slid in yet another job before me after that one (for an addition) for someone. I told him upfront that I did not want the work done in the winter. They did not begin until JANUARY. He had my down-payment for SIX months before he even began the job. The whole purpose of the down payment (he told me) was to get on the schedule. I paid, he gave me the date but did not keep my spot on the schedule. I should have known at that time he was not trust-worthy. So, when they began, workers dropped the ceiling on top of my stove, until I said something to them. There is dirt in the drywall and new scratches on my new stove! Then they used drywall with the wrong thickness and had to jerry-rig the trim, making it too thick. That one door hits the trim before it hits the strike plate. You can see EVERY seam and some of the screw holes in the finished walls. The trim is laughable, with a doorway trim that is too short, leaving a large space on the floors. Most of the trim is crooked and one piece should have been coped, but he just ended it at the doorway with a gap at the end. Pathetic! Then, one painter did not use an edger, paint on the wall and ceiling is rough. He told me that he would bring an edger to fix it. He did not. He was told to fix a place on the ceiling where the drywall showed a crack between the panels. He did not. Very few of the receptacles are straight and some of the plates do not even fit flush. And this is not even the worst of it. On multiple occasions, they slid the dishwasher in and out and put 6-7 cuts in my new (NON-SCRATCHABLE!) flooring. He swore up one side and down the other that this floor could not be cut unless something sharp and heavy slid over it. Now he is blaming it on the dog. Then near where they had a compressor sitting is a large cut. He refuses to take responsibility for the flooring and is blaming it on the dog, which cannot be possible, because cuts like this are not remotely possible to be done by a dog. When I explained I wanted the best waterproof and scratchproof flooring, he told me that he had to go to a school for this flooring. He related that they gave each attendee a nail and told them to try to scratch a piece of the flooring. He said he tried and could not do it. They painted all of the trim a weird color when it was supposed to be painted white. The window they put in was done so poorly that they had to come back and scrape it all out and re-do it. And, they used MY lumber instead of using what I paid for. It still does not look professional and they did not use a drop cloth and got paint all over my composite decking. The lazy susan is not adjusted correctly and I cannot use it because it drags on the bottom. When they were out to re-do the window, he **fixed it** and promised me that it would not come down again. One day later, I heard a noise in the kitchen and went out and looked and it was sitting on the bottom again. I can provide pictures if anyone wants to see the results of hiring this company. This guy is a crook and a liar. I would not get him to build a dog house. The contract states that I keep the last 25% of the job until it is completely finished. He whined and cried and asked me to keep only $500, so I folded and did that for him. Then he refused to come back and repair all of the damages. Oh, that reminds me... They took a chunk out of my bathroom sink while installing a receptacle in it. The flooring is the one thing that really makes me mad as hell and now I have to get my attorney to file a lawsuit to get this made whole. I would NEVER, EVER recommend this contractor. EVER. This is not everything that I could mention, but I am running out of characters, so...

"This costumer looked over everything when we were finished and agreed it was all done, but she said she did not like the caulk later. We still came and we re-did the window she refused to pay even though she said it looked nice and we agreed after the window was fixed she would pay. She said she would only pay if we did work to other things around her house for free which we fixed 7 issues her dog and herself cause like dragging her belt when we were there across the wall and scratching the paint. She kept $500 and 6 months later still has the money and repeatedly causes more damage to things, 8 months later, and expects us to keep coming to fix these."

He came up without hesitation to install my cabinets on the date I told him would be best for me. Service was very professional and precise. He showed me pointers for other kitchen projects I could do on my own if I chose to do so and was very tidy when he worked. Made great conversation and was just awesome company in general. Price was unbeatable. Got the job done when he said it would be done.
