They were fast and affordable. Left some very large logs behind though that were too heavy for me to move.

They did an excellent job, cleaned area up. They were very friendly. I highly recommend R & S Tree service. I would hire them again.

Update to previous entry. R&S got back in touch with the following day and apologized for the confusion and showed up the later that day to start the tree removal. They have done a great job and have been very friendly. I will hire them again if we need more work done. Ill just make sure we have our days and time correct. I have to update this entry again, Since they have dropped the tree we have not seen anyone from the company back to complete the job we are now a week later and I still have a tree in my yard and have not heard from anyone. No response to text messages or email. We call the voicemail is full and the other contact number is now not answering the phone.

The response time was amazing. The came by the same day giving a very reasonable quote. Because of this, I hired them immediately. Work and cleanup was thorough. Was more than pleased!

He came over to look at a tree i need to cut out. They gave us a quote. I do not recommend this tree service company. We hired this company to remove trees from our yard with the agreement of payment after the job was complete. Over the course of three weeks they fell all the trees, after which Jacob (the owner) asked for half of the payment so he could pay his workers and hire equipment to complete the job. After getting paid, Jacob stopped sending workers to remove the fallen trees from the yard and stopped answering our phone calls. About a month later he contacted us and asked us to pay him twice as much as what we had initially contracted to pay him. When we posted an unfavorable review of his tree service company on Home Adviser, he threatened that he will not complete the job until we remove the review. We also brought R & S Tree Service's unethical business practice to the attention of the Better Business Bureau. The business owner, Jacob, called us and after using many profane words, he hung up on us. We felt he used the classic scam where he downed all the trees and felt he left a scattered mass to scam us into paying him more money. We refused to pay him more than our initial agreed upon amount. We felt in addition to trying to scam us, he has ruined our yard, not just with fallen trees but also their vehicles left deep tire tracks and ruined the landscaping.

Great job at a remarkable Price! They cut down 3 large trees and there is not a single stick in the yard. Came on time and did the job in record time. Give Jacob and his crew a try.

They knocked out the power, and took a week to do it. Left leaves and branches in the street and alley. Will never call them again.

Very professional guys they're hard working and they have good communication if we had any problems we had no problems getting ahold of them. They got the job done fast and efficient and they even raked up the yard clean-up looked great would definitely recommend these guys again.

Jacob got an estimate out to me very quickly and just as quickly he had his guys there taking down the two trees and stump I had requested to be removed. Excellent job!

Prompt service

I received a call from R&S Tree Service in a very prompt manner soon after submitting my inquiry on HomeAdvisor. Jacob came out the next day at my convenience to view the tree I needed to have taken down and provided a free estimate. His estimate was very fair and very reasonable and so I decided to have R&S do the work. The tree was removed to ground level and all wood and debris gathered up and hauled away. The yard was raked to ensure all small pieces were collected. Their goal was to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the work they performed and the cleanup afterwards. They did an excellent job at a very good price. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Jacob is a certified arborist so he knows his business. Honest quality Work at a very fair price. And they clean up after! Would use again and recommend.

I was contacted within 1/2 hour to schedule an estimate which I appreciated the promptness. I needed a large tree cut down that could have done damage to a neighbors home. They were to come out that evening but other jobs prevented that from happening. He was nice enough to text me many hours in advance so I wasn't waiting around and we had a dinner to get to. They did the estimate of $400 which was acceptable to us. They came out two days later but the weather was too dangerous so they did it the following day. It was done and cleaned up. My only small disappointment was they left the stump. I didn't specifically request to have it removed in the estimate as I assumed it was part of the service. I have not followed up on that yet as this is in a woodsy part of our lot and isn't a huge deal. But if you need one done in a front yard, I would inquire. He did follow up by phone to see how it all went the next day so it's more on me that I didn't return a call. Overall I would use them again if needed for tree removal. Lastly, somewhat on a lighter note, one of the young workers didn't have a coat or gloves. It was biting cold out. We offered both to him but he wouldn't take it. That kid was strong as nails. If you see him on your project, be parental and get that kid a coat and gloves and make him take it.

They did an excellent job, despite the cold weather, of removing the trees as well as making sure all the debris, including (pine needles) was removed from site as well as the neighboring yard. If you are looking for great work at affordable cost, call them. CWH
