Rappold Tree Service

Excellent service. I expected 1 or 2 guys. They came with a team and had my project done in no time.

Kurt and his crew removed two 40ft tall Ash trees from our yard that were afflicted with the emerald ash borer. They also grinded down the two stumps. The trees were situated in our front yard and live power cables ran through the branches of both. I was concerned no tree trimming company would be comfortable touching the trees due to their proximity to the wires, but Kurt had a plan and executed it perfectly. They arrived on-site on time at 8am, and were very careful not to disturb the neighbor's property (As they had to use their driveway to facilitate the tree removal on our yard). By 2:30 they had both trees down and were grinding the stumps. I want to stress again that live power wires were running through the path of both trees' branches, and they were extremely meticulous in removing everything safely. Price-wise, he came in very fair, and it would've been cheaper had we opted to not have the stumps removed. I found estimates on other websites that were nearly double what he asked. For quality work, prompt/friendly service and a good price, you can't go wrong with Rappold Tree Service.

Very professional. Good crew. Did a great job.

Pleasant to work with, and they cared about our satisfaction with the job.

Reasonable price and quality work. Fast too! Kurt is a pleasure to work with.

Hired to removed 2 maple trees and stumps on October 30, 2015. All of the debris and wood was to be removed along with the stump grindings which I paid extra for. All of the grindings were left, and one of the maple stumps was ground level along with the roots. I was asked when I received an estimate if the crew could come in with their equipment. I never dreamed their equipment would completely destroy my backyard. If they saw the damage it was doing, they should have stopped and called us. Attempts to get Kurt Rappold to come to my home to finish the job were unsuccessful. I had to hire another company to finish a job that I had already paid for. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Very professional. Very reasonable price - even when "we" at first thought "we" could clean up - he came back and did it for just a wee bit more than originally quoted (he did have to bring back all his equipment, etc.) - still extremely reasonable! Did exactly what agreed to and did a fantastic job! Wouldn't hesitate to share his name with family and friends or to call him back for future jobs! This is the type of professionalism and quality of work we wish all contractors had!

Very professional. Did great job!!!!!

Very professional yet personable, completed work well as requested, heavy equipment left minimal imprint on yard, cleaned up thoroughly.

From the moment we met Kurt we were impressed with his professionalism and his ability to listen to our needs. He and his team were very professional, prompt, no nonsense. The team did a great job removing trees and scrubs. They also trimmed a few of our trees as well. What impressed me was that they cleaned the areas in which they worked. I would highly recommend.

Easy to work with. Cleaned area.

complete removal of very large tree did a great job

Rapphold tree service did a awesome job removing a huge maple tree and a ash tree that had fallen unto a steel cable above the phone and cable wires. They removed the stump as well and leveled off the ground where the tree was. They completed all of this work in the same day and even perform a job for my neighbor removing the remaining half of a 12 foot stump that had broke in half and fallen unto they're neighbors house during a storm last month. They removed all the wood as requested. I have used other Tree removal services in the past but none were as efficient as Rapphold. Communication with the owner Kurt was great as well. Their price beat all of the quotes I had for 3 other reputable companies. Highly recommend these guys!

Said he would call me back. Never did, would not listen to what i wanted done and what would have taken him about 10 mins took 45 because he would stop and talk on his phone

They were very courteous and easy to get scheduled to trim trees. They were unable to clear out a section in a fence corner because they only used power saws - I though loppers or hand saws would have helped. I felt they were a little high in price. All and all, I would hire them again.

The owner was friendly and we did not have to wait long at all for an estimate; came the same day that I called which was excellent. Then the work was done within a couple weeks. Our only disappointment was that we were told the large trees that were cut down would be in some sort of organized piles - the workers cut the trees down and just left everything exactly where it fell, so quite a mess.

Kurt and his team were quick and efficient. They did a very nice job in cleaning up. I would definitely use them again for any future needs.

They were great, professional pleasant efficient I would recommend them to anyone needing tree removal service!

Years ago I had done this work, so I am able to judge the job. This is a terrific outfit and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. Two large trees removed and stumped, complete clean up and a happy and courteous gang. All done on time, with no damage and at a fair price. .

They were on time, efficient, and thorough. Great price for the work as well.

Received a call back and quote shortly after submitting a request on HomeAdvisor. Kurt gave me a very fair price which included tree removal, stump grinding and clean up. They showed up on the date they set, on time, and got the job done professionally and thoroughly in just a few hours! They did an exceptional job all-around and I would definitely recommend and rehire them for any future work.

Very prompt, very courteous, and very professional.

Kurt was a professional from start to finish as well as his workers. Job done as discussed. Will definitely hire again when the need presents itself.

I would recommend this service. He was professional, excellent at removing the tres, on time. He provided an accurate estimate before hand. Provided proof of insurance. He was outstanding. He cam in, did the job, cleaned up beautifully, and left. I would use him again.

I had to have this man go through my neighbors yard to get to the trees. While his truck was parked in their driveway it caracked the concrete driveway. He refused to even consider paying for the repairs insisting that his truck could not have done that. I know this people and they would not lie.He even tolf the3m to take me to court
