Vicky Sund Fremont Nebraska Scott did an amazing job remodeling my bathroom. He drove back and forth from Lincoln everyday. He hung up plastic on my walls and he sealed all my carpet with plastic, as well. He tore out all the old fiberglass shower and put in a tile shower and tile floor. and much more. It looks beautiful. I would recommend Scott to everyone.

Scott was great to work with. This was a big job that included a full bathroom remodel and flooring remodel of the entire 2nd floor our home. From initial inquiry thru the final inspection, Scott and his crew were wonderful to work with and have in our home. The only thing I needed to keep in mind was that when you are a small business owner and you are on-site working each job you take on, the time left in the day to answer phone calls is very limited. A little patience will be needed during the initial conversations. Once your job starts however, it is an efficient and concise project with Scott on-site every step of the way. With a 30 year old home, there are certainly going to be unexpected things as you remodel. Scott had an answer for everything. There was one unexpected problem with the grout for the flooring (product was labeled wrong from the manufacturer), and within hours we had new grout in place. Amazing. Scott was very patient with changes as we went through the process and was honest to say, "do we really need to spend this money to replace this?" It was so refreshing. There was a sense that he was treating this project like it was his own home. We tore out the carpet on our stairs and Scott installed beautiful, hand-made solid wood trends and risers. So beautiful. We were unsure of the finished result and with out hesitation, Scott changed out the riser to provide us with a highly sophisticated, high end look. When the time comes for a kitchen remodel, we'll be calling Scott. You can't go wrong in hiring Rathjen Construction.

These guys were just great to work with throughout this process. When Scott arrived to review the job he was right on time and was very professional. I was impressed with answers he had to my questions. He had solutions that would work for some of the problem areas I knew would surface during this job. Because of his demeanor I thought his estimate would be out of reach for me but it was very reasonable, which was good news for me. The demo guys were on time and did everything they supposed to do and I didn't have to cleanup anything after they finished. We had a few problems with the tile but that was resolved to my satisfaction. They did a lot of work for me; stuff I couldn't do on my own. They pretty much tore everything out of my bathroom. They reinstalled new tile flooring, installed a new vanity, sink top and fixtures, re-hung my cabinets and fixtures. I didn't replace the tile around the tub but Scott said that was something I could do later. When I decide to replace the tile, I will call Scott and Keith of Rathjen Construction.
