Established in 1970, Ray Gibbs Painting continues to be a family owned and operated business specializing in painting and drywall work, both residential interior and exterior painting. Serving the Northern Virginia area, Ray Gibbs Painting prides itself on an outstanding record of quality workmanship and strives to provide competitive pricing. Having worked in the painting business for 21 years for our family owned company I was proud to take over the business from my father when he retired in 1994. With our experience, you can be assured the job will be done right the first time. That's why more than half of our business is from customer referrals. My painters average about 9 years of employment with my company and have earned the "Golden Rule Award" for the best painters from The Northern VIrginia Builders Industry Association. Ray Gibbs returned phone calls and emails in a timely manner, arrived on time for the estimate and to perform the work requested and did a terrific job painting our entire house (interior). His estimate was reasonable and was competitive with other estimates I received. I would definitely recommend Gibbs Painting to handle all of your painting needs!!!

I never thought we'd find a company so reliable, we loved the work they did and especially the time they did it in. They were quite courteous, professional, and did what they said they'd do. Compared to previous jobs and estimates we've had for painting this one beats them all, in quality, price and customer service. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to everyone we know. It's so good to find a company you can rely on.

Ray Gibbs and his team were well worth the money. They were courteous, effecient, as neat as anyone could be given the whole interior of the house was being painted at once, and more than helpful in moving furniture, cleaning up and making sure the job was done right. The job was done well and I would not hesitate to hire Ray again.

The sealant sure smells! Update 3/15/04: While the odor was bad (it lasted several weeks), this company did successfully get out motor oil stains on my Trex deck that another company had not been able to get out. I would definitely hire this company again.

We had some weather problems that delayed the job, but otherwise, everything went off as quickly as possible. Some additional communication on the days of work being done would have been helpful, including some instructions post-job on how long to wait before using the deck, etc. Otherwise, I am very satisfied. I would certainly recommend Ray Gibbs. His company handled my request with very little disruption in my daily routine, handling all of the work while I was at my office. Very convenient.
