Company is grossly incompetent. After paying over $12K for a central heat and AC installation, they tore the belly paper and insulation away from the subfloor under the living room area when installing the return which they did not put back in place. The condensation from the ducts in that area caused the exposed subfloor to develop mold and become wet. When the heat was turned on in November, the damaged floor dried and buckled causing the entire floor to become soft and unstable. This was independently verified. Attempted to resolve the issue directly to no avail, at which point it took two additional weeks and the help of an attorney to force Raynor to give us their insurance companies information. We are currently working with selective insurance who they are insured by, to get the damages repaired, but it is worth noting that Raynor has given them the false information that they had filed a lawsuit against me and this claim is retaliatory in nature. To date, there is no such action filed against me and I am working to make the proper department aware of the false and intentionally misleading information they are providing with this claim. Do your homework, look at reviews online from other sites as well as this one, and you will find too many similar horror stories to take the chance yourself. If you do decide to go with them, make note of their insurance company, because you will no doubt need it

Furnace caught on fire during cold snap, too old to repair. Replaced quickly, loaned portable electric heater to cover until install.

Raynor Electric did such a good job upgrading my circuit breaker box I asked them immediately to install a light switch and hook up the ventilation fan in my ceiling. I'm very pleased with the results.

I had an estimate completed prior to the install, which seemed good. Stated I needed a smaller unit and gave me pricing. Installers came out and did a quick and professional job. But, the next three months, I had to call them because my unit was not operating properly. Each time, a person would come out and give a quick fix. Then, within the week, it would go bad again...meaning not cooling the house during 90+ degree days. I would come home to a house with an internal temp above 80 degrees with my husky almost dying. The second to last time I called, the repair man called and told me to just take the filter out...it was not needed. The final time I called, the office personnel stated, "we did everything we promised in our contract" and that they would need to assess my entire system and charge me over $200. They would not come out to assess my unit alone, which could have verified if it was the problem or not. I stopped using them, as they were unable to give quality service when requested and promised via the warranty.

Project: Install a Fixed Generator
The men who installed my back up generator were extremely professionally, courteous, hard working and worked long hours and around our schedule to get the job done in a timely fashion. Amy at the office is the best. She answered all of my many questions and got back to me quickly with the responses that she did not know. An A 1 organization and would highly recommend.

The men who installed the air conditioning in my ninety year old house were very courteous, showed up on time, and we're extremely hard working. They stayed late for three days in order to complete what turned out to be a very difficult job. A senior technician then came the next day to make sure the installation was properly done. I would not hesitate to use Raynor for all my air conditioning needs.
