In 1993, Tom Raynor began taking on electrical construction and service jobs across southern New Jersey. With just one assistant and one beat-up truck, Tom crisscrossed the state, building a reputation for his small outfit as one that offered professional, hands-on service and reliable, high-quality results. By 1994, it was officialRaynor Services was born! Since then, that red pick-up has been upgraded to a fleet of ten fully stocked trucks. We are now a one-stop shop service company, specializing in electric, heating, cooling, and generator services. Raynor Services has never lost the spirit of professional, hands-on service that it was founded on. Family-owned and operated, we combine small-business service with big-business expertise. Raynor technicians are among the best in the industry. Each must complete a rigorous hiring process including a background check, a drug test, and an HVAC or electrical proficiency examination.

I highly recommend Raynor for all HVAC systems! We replaced our furnace and air conditioner, Josh the service technician came the same day that I called the business. He was very polite, professional and very knowledgeable. Our old unit was outdated, so his Manager Mike came to our house within 12 minutes to discuss all of our options in a new install. Very knowledgeable and professional. Listened to our needs and our expectations. The next day, an installation crew installed all new hvac system! Jake who was the install technician and his 3 man crew took out and installed brand new! Jake and his crew were professional, courteous, and skilled with removing the existing and installing new. This business by far exceeded my expectations and I will be a valued customer with them. Great job Raynor

We have been very pleased to use Raynor Services for installing new outlets in our home as well as yearly service to our heating system and electrical inspection of our electrical systems. Bob E. just left after inspecting our electric and offering some options for projects we plan next spring. The attention to customer satisfaction from Raynor has been exemplary. We can always reach a live polite person by phone, receive immediate attention, and on-time respectful technicians that clean up after they are done working. Bob E. was professional and yet cheerful and friendly in explaining options and costs to me this morning. Who could ask for anything more? We do pay $19 per month to insure our HVAC and electrical systems are safe and effective. Raynor is our trusted "go-to" company.

Raynor appealed to me because it was a family run business and they seemed to always show up. They are very pricey, $500 hr. (good luck finding that published on their website), so I was hopeful to get what I paid for.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR, IT WILL SAVE YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. We hired this company for a simple commercial HVAC install, however they did not adhere to the guidelines dictated by the town which is preventing our company from receiving a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) for this building. In response to our inquires to rectify the above issue, the owner (Tom) has been grossly negligent. He has refused to work with us and the town to fix his errors which is completely unprofessional. This company has cost my partners and I thousands of dollars of lost revenue and we are now in a situation where the owner does not return our phone calls. How can a company which states on its website that it provides “top quality service with professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and highly skilled technicians that make sure we treat your home and business as if it were our very own” under-deliver on all of the above qualities? Don’t let the same thing happen to you, find another professional company to work with.

I highly recommend engaging Raynor Services for your heating/air conditioning needs. Our technician, Matt, was very friendly, courteous and efficiently diagnosed and planned the remediation of our heating problem. He took the time to point out what was wrong and provided some extra measures we could take, should we decide to, in the future. No sales pitch, no pressure to add additional costs. Extremely satisfied with Raynor’s friendly service, quick response (less than 1.5 hrs from my call) and low costs to return our heating system back in working order. We will continue to call on Raynor Sevices for all of our heating & ac needs.

It cost more than the average. The work was near and the electrician was very professional. I wouldn’t use again because of the price. But would recommend if you don’t mind expensive fees.

Very happy with our solar panel installation! Raynor services was excellent throughout the whole process. They did all of the necessary paperwork and guided us through the entire process. They came out on time and completed the installation within 2 days. They left no mess at all and were very polite and respectful. We love that we have already seen a major impact on our electric bill! Kyle and Tyler were very professional and worked hard to get the job done right. Received $11000 project quote for a solar panel installation with 0% finance. The quote was attractive, and I decided to go with this company. Applied for 0% financing card and got approved for it. However, after receiving permits, the company changed the contract to 6% financing option. The company insisted that the contract was originally 6%. After much discussion, it provided me with a very ambiguous and small fine prints as part of the contract. The installation was done cheap. The guys used cheap plastic pipe to get the electrical work done and also made a hole in the roof to run the electrical line through. All of these works were done without discussing it with the owner. After receiving the payments, no help or guidance for setting up SREC. You get what you pay for. I regret that I chose this vendor for solar panel project.

"Hello, thank you for your feedback we always appreciate any of it. We know that phone calls are difficult for you and did try and respond to you again via phone but are unable to reach you again. We wanted to help you with this as solar projects are a long project with many many steps in a very precise order and it takes the longest amount of time to go from start to finish with solar projects than any other trade based project. As we discussed your project is not completed yet. There has been no final approval for the SRECs yet to set them up. That is the next step of the project but we would need you to give us a call to do that. As we explained in the initial phase and the second phase of your project, you must have approvals from first the township via passed inspections for the installation, which you have, everything on the installation was beyond code and fully approved by the township. Then approval comes from the power company and then the next approval comes from the state. Once all those approvals are obtained, and they must be in that order, then your SRECs can be set up. There are numbers assigned by the state and only the state that you need in order to get the SRECs to sell. As far as the installation, it was done beyond code, fully passed using the best materials possible. The electric does have to go into the home and anything done on the roof is completely sealed and approved and passed by all officials. We did meet with you several times in person and go over everything, from installation details, material details and the length of the project and the approval process to options for payments so that you could chose what worked best for you. Your deposit was made in cash and you signed for wanting to utilize the cash discount. When you decided to change your mind we moved ahead with the financing option right away. Your project is still finishing all the approvals and final set ups with the SRECs so that is why you were not set up yet. You will be fully completed and everything set up but we do need you to respond and reach out. We are always here for you and look forward to getting the last part of your project finalized when you are ready to. We apologize again that you are unhappy, solar installations are a longer more confusing project but we are always here to walk every customer through it. We look forward to hearing from you!"

Bought a house last year that was built in the 40s. Though the service panel had been updated most of the outlets and wiring had not. Called Raynor and they were very courteous and prompt. They kept us informed as to when the technician would arrive. The technician was very courteous and professional as I explained all the work I wanted done; 5 outlets with its own breaker in the room that was to become our office. 1 GFI in the upstairs bathroom to satisfy the CO inspector. 1 outlet in the living room for the TV. 1 outlet in the master bedroom for the AC. 2 exterior outlets for the front and side of the house. It took 2 days to get it all done but it was well worth it. The technicians were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. Would most definitely recommend their services.
