Great job quick clean on time

I hired Ray's Contracting for bathroom remodeling including tile installation. After the job had been completed I pointed out to Randy that water in the shower pooled downhill before goes to drain. They redid critical portion of the shower floor but they damaged and sunk a few tiles just enough to trap the water. I pointed out to Randy this issue and they came the second time and fixed it. However, water is still pooled downhill even worse. I took the picture of it and send it to Randy and asked him to provide different workman for third repair but he has never responded.

These guys were great. They responded quickly to my request. Their workmanship was superior and were upfront and fair with their pricing.

Randy was quick to respond like no other contractor. He is friendly, positive and knows his craft!

Randy and his team were awesome they turned my space into a dream. My no threshold shower is awesome Randy came and talked to me every day and made sure all my needs were meet

I hired Randy and his team for a full basement remodel. It included finishing about 1,100 square feet of space with the addition of a full bedroom, full bathroom, and a fully functional bar. The final result turned out awesome! Randy's team did an excellent job and were able to complete everything in just about 10 weeks. Randy's customer service is above and beyond. If I didn't see him in person every day, he would call me for updates on overall progress. The daily updates really make this process so much less stressful. Randy made sure my wife and I were always happy with the work and progress. I also have to mention that Randy's prices were far better than any other contractor quotes we received. I can't thank Randy and his team enough for turning our basement dreams into a reality!

Randy is doing a wonderful job on my porch with handicapped ramp. I will update this when the job is done, but I wanted to say that the help he and team have done has been great. Great effort in seeing that things are done well, with good attention to the inevitable problem as they come up. More to come once the job is done. Couldn't be happier as the job progresses.

I hired them to do a job. We agreed on a price, date and time. When the day came, they were on time and did everything expected of them. When they were finished, I did what was expected of me; I paid them. The perfect American business transaction. Don’t see as much of that these days. Highly recommended.

Randy is awesome...they won't be starting for another week...but have been in constant contact with me for the last 6 days!!! Can't wait to see the final project completed....exciting

I am more than delighted with the communication, explanation and outcome of the demolition of a pergola in my backyard that Rayâ s Contracting completed for me today (2/29/21). Randy and his crew were awesome! Careful with the demolition and removal! Cleaned the area of my yard as it was found. Awesome experience! Thank you Randy!

I had a wonderful experience working with Rayâ  s Contracting. Randy was the contractor I worked with. He was always available and checked in on the project everyday. They were quick to respond and completed the entire basement renovation in 2 weeks. Excellent honest, trustworthy contractor. Will def use again in the future.

After signing a contract for painting our ceiling, installing drywall, doors (2), covering the steel girders and posts with pine, and installing flooring, the work began when promised. Unfortunately, the work performed was sub-par and after the contractor informed us they were finished, we performed a walk-around inspection. We expressed our concerns and they promised they would fix the issues we pointed out. After several attempts at resolving the problems, the contractor again said they were finished. At this point, we asked what they had done to finish the job and address the issues we pointed out because none of the issues were resolved! Again we asked that Randy Cxxxxx come and take a look at the issues. He arrived and kept explaining that he would fix the issues. By this point, we had lost all confidence that the problems would be resolved. During the period of time, we were told the job was completed and Randy came to take a look, we took it upon ourselves to get quotes that would fix the problems created by the contractor. It was determined that another investment of more than $1500 was required. It was at that point that Randy Cxxxxx agreed to refund us $750 and call it a day. So here we are, after paying for a job that we were assured could be completed, scrambling to find someone who can fix the issues created by Randy Cxxxxx and his crew. It is going to cost us upwards of $2000 to get a job completed that was already promised. While we wait for another contractor to be available, we have spent hours and even more money to clean the dust created by the drywall and the overspray from the ceiling that was never cleaned by the original contractor. If we had it in our budget to advertise this experience on tv, radio, and newsprint, we would! We would describe how we feel that were lied to when we were assured that the men doing the job were experienced enough to complete the job we paid for. They obviously were not! We can provide pictures if anyone is interested. 5/14/2021 - The response by this contractor is incorrect, there was a painted ceiling listed in our agreement, they put nothing up when they painted or sanded and there were issues with a lot of what they did. The two guys they sent out argued the entire time they were here and I feel my original review was professional and I do not know where he got the idea my boyfriend was a drug addict. He is very dishonest. I have more of a mess than I had before I started this whole process. Update June 1, Rays Contracting would not sign up for the arbitration that Home Advisor offers. We will be taking him to Small Claims Court. I have had numerous problems with plumbing that was hooked up by them with the washing machine and sink. A plumber will be coming again for the second time to fix every single thing they did. Both of the doors they installed do not close properly and there are gaps around them. The floor is also not level. The painting of the ceiling also has to be redone. I would hope that anyone thinking about hiring Rays Contracting to think long and hard before you decide to go with them. Five people have come to give me estimates to fix the various problems. Each person that came said I cannot believe they left the job like this and thought it was acceptable. I have 150 pictures of things done improperly. I look forward to seeing what the judge will have to say. Update:12/29/2021 Do not hire them unless you do not mind having a convicted felon in your house.

Randy and his crew (Scott,Shane) we're excellent. They made sure to pay attention to detail and include my wife and I in every decision. We will definitely use them again in our new house. Highly recommend!

GOOD HONEST CONTRACTOR

Randy and Team were absolutely awesome to work with! From day one, Randy was very responsive, took the time to really understand exactly what we wanted for our basement, and truly made it come to life in the end! Any time there was a question or change we wanted he listened and made sure the end product reflected it. He did the very best possible to get quality materials for a good price. The team was pleasant to work with and there was constant communication each day. Thank you, Randy! We will certainly be using you for future home projects!

We hired Rays Contracting after getting multiple quotes and looking over reviews; they were neither the highest nor lowest estimate. The job started off well and a few of the men were professional and polite; others however were not. When items of concern were pointed out a specific worker repeatedly became belligerent, and in one instance punched my counter and threw his tile sponge; all in front of our main contact Randy. We were told that we would end up with any concerns fixed however when these concerns were presented we were met with aggressive and combative tone and were told how we were already getting a "deal". We hired this company to do - A new bathroom floor, sub and tile (sub not redone and tile crooked with grout already cracking, also discovered no underlayment was set before tile put in). Fix a leaking tub ( Mike was great and did great work, though he did not return to fix areas he found not working ie hot water pressure in vanity) New kitchen counter and backsplash (backsplash crooked in over dozen areas, grout missing as well as many chipped tiles) We ultimately asked Randy to remove Scotty the tile guy due to his behavior and aggressive combative responses to our concerns. Our two eldest children expressed their discomfort with having them in the home due to the nature of the way they spoke as well. In the time that they did extra work like putting in shut off valves and an access panel to our tub ( as it was discovered we did not have these) other areas of concern occurred. Such as Scotty filling our basement sink with grout and it clogging - resulting in Randy having to have Mike clean it out. It will now cost us extra to have a professional service come and snake it to the main town connection. There are many more concerns with just how this overall job went and it was really disheartening to hear repeatedly that we were getting a *deal* rather than our concerns being taken seriously. We did not ask for a deal, we asked for a quote and honest work, and unfortunately this did not occur. I am not willing to allow them back into our home to correct any concerns due to the way we were addressed as well as untruths about work being said.

Ray and his team were respectful and friendly and worked hard every day. They showed up by 9 every day and worked till 5. I'm pleased with all of the workers and their skill and professionalism, and their work. I'd hire them again.

Ray's Contracting to the rescue!!!! My bathroom project was a nightmare until Ray's Contracting came along! So much thanks to Randy and his team! Randy saved me! He was very much on top of things from the get go! If there was an issue it was immediately addressed and taken care of. It only took 2 days to complete the job. I was quite impressed! Everything was up to par and more! I highly recommend Ray's Contracting.

Ray and his crew were amazing! They contacted us promptly after our request for a Pro to demolish an old rusty shed in our backyard. They did a consult and promptly gave a reasonable quote. On the same day, the crew demolished the shed, cleaned up well & hauled everything away. As it turns out, they are many other tasks around our home that they're able to do as well! They were professional, prompt & thorough!! Thanks for a five star job, Ray's Contracting!!!!

These were great people, They were friendly and cooperative in every aspects of the work. I do have to mention that Home Advisor listed this work as 3-5 windows. This was ONE window repair and the work was exceptional. Would hire them again in a heartbeat.
