We hired Ray to come behind and fix the shoddy work of another handyman we found on NextDoor. We needed the interior of a shed I use for my home office finished. The first guy we hired was incompetent. He was supposed to install paneling, trim the door & windows and build a small (4’x3’) closet. When we finally fired him, the walls & ceiling were horrible, with exposed seams and nail holes. The closet wasn’t finished and it looked terrible. In came Ray, and he took on the job for us; within a week he turned a sow’s ear into a silk purse. He covered all the seams, installed trim on the windows & door, installed base molding on the flooring we installed ourselves, finished the closet & hung the closet door (which required trimming the door because the other guy didn’t follow installations instructions and left too small an opening). It took him a half day longer than planned, but he didn’t charge any more for the added time. His price was fair, his workmanship outstanding, he was timely and his communication with us was excellent. We would highly recommend hiring Ray for your handyman and small project needs.

He was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable and did an excellent job repairing our bathroom exhaust fan and figuring out what was wrong with our broken kitchen cabinet drawer. We are so glad we found Ray’ s Handywork, and are excited for Ray to do various new projects around our home.

This was my first experience hiring a handyman ... of course I read all reviews of each company.. so I was going to call company s for quotes for a different day but to my surprise I received a phone call from Ray within minutes! I let him know that I needed a chandelier to be put together and installed...I thought his rate per hour was a decent amount and not ridiculous like some other companies...Thank you Ray , I can t wait to order more home decor and have you install them!!

I just sold my house and needed some work done to correct items found during the buyer's inspection. I had a fencing company out the day before and they said I would have to replace my entire fence. Ray came up with an alternative approach to repair my fence that was a lot cheaper for me and did the job. Thanks Ray, you rock!
