ReCon of Tennessee

ReCon installed a cheaper HVAC unit than they quoted me. When I realized what they were doing thanks to a tech from another company (McCoy Heating and Air) I asked them to stop the install and put the right one in. it was almost impossible to contact the owner, K.C. When I did get to talk to him, he was less than honest with me. He promised to change the unit out within fifteen days with the right one. Every time I called him; he had an excuse why he had not switched the units out. He finally stopped returning my calls. My problem is that he conned me into paying the full amount upfront (that is on me). So, I am four months later with a unit inferior to the one he quoted me. The reason I rated the work quality higher was because the guy he subcontracted to do the install did an excellent job. I would have rated the quality at a 5 if ReCon had provided the proper equipment and material. I would highly recommend the subcontractor, David Smith, for any HVAC needs.

Did half the job and left after several phone calls says he will be back 11/9 to finish. We will see! He has said he will be back but NO SHOW. His work is very poor and not up to any wall construction. Cannot say how disappointed I am. Got taken for more money than I am willing to say.

The chemical that they sprayed the roof with, they got on the front steps, driveway, and walkway. The front steps and porch are white speckled, the driveway and walkway have white blotches. I texted the contractor and he will not respond. The roof is not cleaned. I also had re-con to do some facial work on the garage end of the house, they made a mess. We will never use them again.

Recon is a rip-off. They requested that I pay for the service and they did not complete the job. I called and called the contact person and he promised to send pictures of the completed job and I have not received any. If it had not been for family checking on the house I would have never known that he did not do the job. They are liars and cheats. I do not recommend this company. I requested my money back and he blocked me from contacting him.

Becareful, they didn't finish the job, broke my water main pipe had to pay a professional to fix it, and they stole my house key and never returned it. Had to pay for new locks around my house as well because of it. I would not hire them again, or recommend them to anybody else. Filing a civil suit, to get all my money back.

On time. Finished in a timely manner. Excellent job.

They did a great job.

Very professional. I'll be contracting with them for future projects.
