I could not be more pleased with my interaction with this company. I divided the job into two parts as I did not know initially if I would be happy with their work. Phase 1 involved making new vinyl seats for 4 dining room chairs. The second job was more complex--replacing the back, seat, and side chair arm rests on 2 chrome office chairs. In both cases every aspect of our relationship was perfect. They came within the 2-hour framework they gave me for both pick-up and delivery. The workmanship is perfect--the chairs look like they were just bought!! I feel the price I paid was reasonable considering all the craftsmanship involved. I could not recommend ReupholsteryNYC more highly.

There are so many reasons to be disappointed with my sofa reupholstery: long waits for response, pickup time, over a month to recover an apt.-size sofa bed. Skirt was too long & thus wood blocks were nailed into legs, bottom cushions were not same size and had to be cut to proper size, bed frame was reattached backwards so could not open properly. And 2 years later, Ì have to pay $1,300 to replace squishy low density foam in seat cushion causing back problems, have the edges of the cushion increased an inch as it was in the original Carlyle model and pay for one hour?s labor to fix the mattress frame that was bent in reattatching the frame to the sofa. Just a warning for anyone considering a job with ReUpholsteryNYC. I cannot recommend.

This is a follow-up to my 3/22/25 review. While it took so time?we originally contacted Eli after we saw the issue with the loveseat, awaiting phone calls that weren't returned, so on 3/20 I made one last attempt for a response, nothing. Following multiple bad reviews on Yelp, Angie's List and Home Advisor and contacting my credit card company, we finally heard from Eli on 3/27. He made an appointment, picked up the loveseat and completed the repairs in a short time; we were invited to take a look at his shop for approval. The loveseat was delivered the day after. So far, so good. The seat is much firmer than the original delivery which I'm still puzzled about. Just make sure you're satisfied when your delivery is made as it just might take quite a bit of time for them to make it right.

Came with good fabric selection. Did 4 chairs in 2 weeks, but scratched the arms of all 4 chairs. Delivery men took pictures and promised someone would call. Finally responded to email and agreed to a date for touch up of chairs. No one came. Called and agreed to send someone another day for touch ups. In pouring rain 2 workers came to pick up chairs, not to touch up. Emailed managers and said I was not happy with them my review would reflect the above problem. Called me 5 minutes after email sent to argue about review. Sorry they were not as efficient at fixing scratches.
