Rea Plumbing and Water Heater

My hot water heater was leaking, so I came here to find someone to take a look at it. Rea Plumbing had many great reviews, so I clicked the button to get a quote at around 10PM. Robert called first thing in the morning, talked to me about the issue, and agreed to come and have a look, even though he was going to have to squeeze me in between two other jobs. He said if it was a simple repair, that's what we would do, but he would bring along a hot water heater just in case. I agreed, since I was pretty sure it needed to be replaced. When Robert arrived, he looked it over, explained what was wrong and why it would need replacement, as well as chatting about the water hardness and quality in my area, which must be the reason this old one lasted so long (15 years). Turns out, the one that he brought along was simply a newer model of the one that I had, a Bradford White 50 Gallon. Robert was both friendly and professional, and answered all of my questions while performing the work, which lasted just about an hour, maybe a little more. Best price I could find too, no surprises, no upcharges, stuck to the original quoted price and made the whole experience easy and pleasant. He even took the time at the end of the job to check my water pressure, increase it a little bit, and explain proper maintenance and troubleshooting steps in case I had a pilot light failure or something in the future. I would definitely hire Rea Plumbing again, and would recommend them to anyone else in need of a hot water heater or other plumbing work . No one wants to need a plumber on short notice, but if you do it's good to know that people like Robert are there to help out and won't take advantage of someone in an emergency situation.
