Scott refinished our almost 90 year old white oak floors (which were last refinished more than 30 years ago) and they came out fabulous! He is also one of those rare home improvement contractors who always calls back, responds to texts and answers all questions! Our interview was great with Scott, very polite and respectful, after we had hired him he would tell us when we could ask questions and was extremely rude. We hired him to stain, repair, and poly the floors. The repair consisted of finding seasoned Douglas fur wood instead he replaced it with new wood and would not blend the stain to match. I found circular sanding marks on the floor, he tried to charge me for sinking in the nails and finished the living room using Satin instead of Semi-Gloss and had to come back. Now where in the contract stated that I the customer had to purchase my own stain and spend hours on my knees trying to match. I was not happy with his work, most of all his rudeness.
