It's been 20 days since this company destroyed my furniture, made my move a traumatic experience, took RAFT money and ran with it with NO APOLOGY, NO EXPLANATION, AND NO RESOLUTION. I was forced to pay additional help to move items that this company was already paid to move but failed to do so. Their actions were manipulative and deceptive. I have written quotes that demonstrate how I was misled, photographs documenting the condition my belongings were left in?including my daughter?s bed, which is beyond repair?and text messages proving the illegal dumping of furniture left on their truck from a previous move. At this time, I am formally requesting that the company take full accountability for its actions and provide an immediate resolution. The company?s continued lack of response and failure to address the harm caused is unprofessional, unethical, and unacceptable. It is NEVER ok to take advantage of people.

Almost all the furniture was damaged. Beds were not put together correctly and parts are completely missing. Couch was not reassembled. Quoted $1600. Cost was over $2400 and a part of quote was not completed (entire storage room). Called and they did not care at all. Stay away!

Bill and Pedro were amazing! They moved my extremely heavy piano from Northampton, MA, to NYC. They picked up on time, arrived in New York on time, and had to upend it to get it into the elevator. There were some tricky maneuvers and some obstacles that I did not anticipate, but the guys were good problem-solvers, very good-natured, and so, so careful. Absolutely no damage. They really went the extra mile for me. I would recommend them, absolutely!

I provided a list of items to move up front, and received a quote based on the estimated quantity of hours to load, transport, and unload my items. But it took twice that amount of time - and I paid double. The two movers were nice guys, and I actually liked them. But they were slow and took a lot of small breaks. The movers damaged several items, including my expensive bedroom furniture. They wrapped/taped it fairly well, but they often dragged items across the truck or ground - which damaged the edges of the furniture. My bed has several deep scratches in it, and was not fully assembled back to the state it was when they arrived. I had to complete the assembly myself - which also involved drilling new screw holes to replace holes they stripped. This furniture was expensive and new, and had no damage. Now it looks worse and its value has greatly decreased. I also had an expensive TV stand with a glass shelf, but noticed days later that the glass shelf was not moved? I am not sure where it is, but no one contacted me and said - We found your glass shelf on the truck. I strongly suggest that others look elsewhere for a mover.

I will be a brief estimates $1600 I was billed $2400. Things missing and almost everything I owned was damaged one way or another. There are just too many things that went wrong to list here. You can call me and I will explain the whole movie. The bottom line if you treasure your things do not hire them and expect to get an inflated bill at the end of the move.

We hired Real Deal movers to move 90% of our furniture to a pod in our yard due to renovations on our home. Dave in the office was excellent to work with. The first 2 movers, Dave and Will arrived on time and packed and moved our furniture with ease. Excellent job by both. Upon completion of our renovations, Nate and Manny arrived on time and unpacked and placed our furniture in it's original position. They are great people and did an exceptional job. My husband and I definitely recommend Real Deal movers! On Time, professional, hard working and pleasant people. Thank you!

Headache free move

The movers were polite and knew what they were doing. My moving involved some complications in going from State to State. They handeled everything in a timely manner and I thought the Company’s rates were excellent.

Everyone I talked to and dealt with in this company was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. The movers that day were great! Fast and friendly. There is nothing more stressful than moving your house and these guys did everything they could to make it go smoothly.

Mitch and Orlando were my movers both on my Boston move-out and NYC move-in. I have dealt with many movers and I was incredibly impressed by their professionalism, care with which they treated my belongings and new apartment, and speed with which they worked. They were also a delight to get to know. Highly recommend!

The three man crew moved all our furniture and then some. They were courteous, professional and personable and a pleasure to work with. They took great care in wrapping and moving items and didn't even leave a mark on our freshly painted walls! Hopefully I never have to move again but if I do I hope these guys are available!

We are in New England, not California as the profile shows. I hired this company to move my elderly mother from Peabody to Rockland. Dave in the office was very nice. He quoted me 677.00 and said this was on the high side so there wouldn't be any surprises at the end, and was inclusive of everything but the tip. Three young men arrived about 9:00. They were very polite and worked quickly. My mother's bed frame had broken several months before. When they went to move it, I discussed it with one of the men and said just to pack it all, and my husband would fix it when he got to my sister's in Rockland (we live in NH so he was traveling separately.) About an hour after the movers left (we had to stay behind to wait for the oxygen company to remove the oxygen machine) my mother said she thought that one of the bed rails was left on the porch. I took a look and indeed it was. I called the cell number the movers gave me, and it went to voice mail. I called my sister to tell her to tell them that they needed to come back to get the railing. (It was long and wouldn't fit in the car.) They said they would take care of it. The bill came to almost 900.00, considerably more than was quoted. I had already tipped them in Peabody in case the oxygen company took longer than expected (which they did) and the movers never returned to get the railing. I called the office and left a message about the additional cost and the piece that was forgotten. Wynita called me back and said that since it was so late in the afternoon she would be in touch with me on Monday (it was 1:30 in the afternoon.) I never heard back from her again. My husband was already on his way to Rockland so he had to turn around and come back to Peabody to pick up the bed rail with his truck. It added hours to our day. I do not recommend this moving company at all. They did not take responsibility for the mistake they made because they didn't want to have to go through the Boston traffic. If my husband hadn't come down my elderly, ill mother would have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor. The bill came to much more than they quoted, so don't believe them when they say "no suprises." I still have not heard back from them and the move was in April.

I have hired but will use on June 12. Then I will give a complete review. Customer service was helpful for arranging a better date for my move. Definitely I will say more later. Moving company can be a bit tricky. Moving MA to NH.

The guys from Real Deal are just that - the real deal! Mitch and Raf were very efficient and took excellent care of our stuff. Every piece of furniture was wrapped, and then they set everything up perfectly at the new house. They even tightened things that were loose when they packed them. They were on time, and finished the job in the quoted times so there were no financial surprises. This is the second time I've used Real Deal and I will use them again. As a Realtor, I've also referred clients to them.

Have hired but work to be done on Monday

Superb moving company. Being a manufacturer, we still had a lot of very heavy equipment remaining(after riggers did their job) and the work crew did an amazing job of moving all of our items. The crew worked extremely well together, were very hard working, no nonsense, no complaints, yet very pleasant, aiming to meet our needs. They hustled in all stages of the move(3 trips), right up until they left. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to move, especially in the commercial/industrial sector.

Dave was very helpful with scheduling the move. Corey, Dylan, and Brad moved us into out new home. The guys were efficient, friendly, and very hard working. Will be hiring them again!

Baker and Josh was excellent. Provided excellent customer service and was very professional. Didn't give up in situations that doesn't seems to work (moved items that didn't seem to fit within staircase but did several tries and never gave up...heavy wardrobe and etc). Would definitely recommend to my friends and family.
