"It is very unfortunate that Ms. Audre Levy has felt the need to make a complaint against my company, me personally, and the professionals I partner with. Ms. Levy was a repeat client. Before filing this report, she has never spoken to me directly about any deficiencies in the work we completed for her, nor have we discussed any remedy. As far as I knew, she was satisfied with the work we completed. The only point of contention we ever discussed was the length of time this project was taking. The project took longer in part because of continual indecision from Ms. Levy. I have several (over 100) emails, text messages, and direct messages through Pinterest showing several wildly varying ideas and asking my opinions on them. This indecision and deliberation carried way beyond the original 60-day contract term. Once she started down this path with multiple change orders, the original contract term became null & void. I also have documentation of the communication regarding changes dated as late as October. As of Friday, October 24, 2020, Ms. Levy refused to pay for work already completed, she wrote me a check on Friday afternoon, which was only a partial payment on an already 30-day past due invoice. On Sunday she sent a text informing me that she placed a stop payment on that check. This was after I gave her a referral for a handyman for minor projects she wanted and scheduled my cabinet installer to finish the kitchen starting Monday, October 27, 2020. My subcontractor completing the kitchen cabinets reported to me that not only did she keep changing her mind on cabinet door style, but she also yelled and screamed at him as if he were a small child and he had no choice but to leave off the job because of her actions and attitude toward him. My responsibility as the General Contractor does not include being a personal valet to Ms. Levy being available for her at her every whim. She is not my only client and I am not able to complete any more work until she pays past due invoices. As a company, we value our clients and strive to complete jobs to the best of our ability. We are also willing to work through challenges in a healthy manner. This doesn't seem to be Ms. Levy's desire."
