I thought the cost to convert tub to walk in shower was way too high. I could see paying that price for a complete bathroom remodel but not just to replace a tub with a shower.

"Dear Ms. H, Our design consultants work very hard to explain how the average cost of a bathroom remodel has increased over the last 10 years, as well as explain the value added benefits that you get by choosing ReBath. I fully understand that some consumers could manage to get a lower price elsewhere. Most of our customers, however have found that having a worry free bathroom(or in this case a shower conversion) is well worth the money that they paid for. I like to say that just like other companies we have service calls. The difference is that we answer and go on those service calls many years after the bathroom was originally installed. "It is virtually impossible for me to respond to this review. The review has no comments posted. All we show in our system is that we went out on an appointment to meet with this prospect. He did not buy from us. That is perfectly understandable. We work diligently to earn people's trust and their business. There is absolutely no way that Dj J can possibly know what the value for the money is when we did not do any work in his home. Nor the quality of our work rated at a .05. How can that be? For us Re-Bath of Central Texas has been an aggravation from the beginning; I feel the primary reason is poor communication. Below is issues we had with them: âÃÂâ Sales person Dan forgot to include tub faucets to our order. âÃÂâ Dan informed us when we signed the contract it will be 8-10 weeks before the work would start, and the whole process will be 3 days from start to finish âÃÂàno big deal; however, read below. âÃÂâ When the guys showed up on day one they did not know we ordered (through Dan) an exhaust fan to be installed. âÃÂâ After a couple of days and phone calls back and forth, we finally got the exhaust fan; however, electrician Russell did NOT vent the fan, and âÃÂâ Russell the electrician LEFT LIVE WIRES EXPOSED IN THE ATTIC!! âÃÂâ When the remodel work was done we were told âÃÂÃÂoh, it will be 2-3 weeks for your shower doorâÃÂà...âÃÂàWhat? We were told whole process would be 3 days!âÃÂàDoor had to be special ordered after work was done for proper measurements. âÃÂâ 1st time the exhaust fan was either installed incorrectly or a bad unit because it would blow air but not exhaust the bathroom, but the heater did work. âÃÂâ 2nd time Supervisor Felix came out and tried to fix RussellâÃÂÃÂs mistakes (vent the exhaust properly, fix the exposed wires, and fix the exhaust fan) âÃÂàwas able to get the fan to exhaust, but now the heat did not work. Put in an order for replacement parts. âÃÂâ Spoke with Felix regarding our frustration through the process and he said he will have Brian give us a call âÃÂà3 weeks later still no call from Brian. âÃÂâ 3rd time they tried to fix the exhaust fan with the replacement parts âÃÂànope, now the heater works but no exhaust; need to call out another electricianâÃÂæ. a week later still no electrician!! âÃÂâ Shower door finally arrived and installed. âÃÂâ We had the whole thing financed and was told we would not have to pay anything up front or out of pocket âÃÂàwhen they came to install the shower door they tried to collect a $1000 and supposedly the contract was changedâÃÂæ. have not seen nor heard anything else about this issue. âÃÂâ Speaking of no call, we were told several times through the process either Dan or Brian will give us a callâÃÂæ. no call from either of them! Now however there were a few positives sides (reason why they are receiving two stars instead of just one): âÃÂâ the employees do a really good job making as little mess as possible âÃÂâ they did clean up what mess they made âÃÂâ they were really polite and respectable.

Very quick and efficient. Very polite and respectful. Keep us informed on the process on a daily basis. Price was a little high but the quality of the workmanship was great. Both members of the team worked well together and kept the work area as clean as possible. Good job!!

Very Professional. I had my whole bathroom remodeled. They pulled permits, schedule the inspection, schedule the electrician. It is worth not worrying about ever detail. Everything was done all in one. That's what we like and our bathroom is beautiful. This was a stress free remodel.

It was a big project that the salesman underestimated the time to complete, but he installers did a good job installing. They did have a spill that messed up my bedroom flooring, but they fixed most of it. I was surprised that nobody from the company came to inspect their work afterwards.

Paid total amount, paid for supplies. Additional supplies would be paid by company, which did not happen, We paid in end. They did come out and address most complaints, but still have issues (wrong paint used on one wall, same room), no regard for clean up, did come back out to fix this issue. Light socket still not corrected, sticking out of wall, scratched appliances , never hooked up washer/dryer, we did (was in agreement- would of waited 1+ months), One particular item (corner wall), did not address as requested. Tile in shower not smooth (decorative tile is recessed ). Workers were friendly, Re-bath staff was great, work just not as expected for amount paid.

The original representative met with us to determine our goals and then worked diligently to meet those goals. They aren't cheap, but the quality of the workmanship and the materials made us feel we had made a great decision. We love our new tub/surround/shower. It changed the look of the bathroom. The grandkids love to come visit so they can get in my big, deep tub!

Everything that we asked them to do, they did and did it well. They didn't mind re-painting a wall if we weren't satisfied. They cleaned up well after the "mess" of redoing. You couldn't ask for a better crew. Everyone worked together and we were well pleased with the finished products. (2 bathrooms). We had some problems when the first bathtub came up and a very difficult problem had to be dealt with where a plumber had to be hired. They never griped about being at our house much longer than they should have. I would totally recommend this company. We are loving the way the showers look and perform.

The job took much longer than expected. No attention was paid to details. I had to constantly have things redone ie wall texture paint on cabinets and it still is not a professional job. Light fixture is not centered over sink. The shower is very poorly designed - nice bench but too large to accomidate standing in the shower. Shower doors leak so badly that I am forced to mop puddles from bathroom floor each time a shower is taken. The shower hinges pop so badly I cringe every time I close them afraid the glass will break. Overall a very disappointing job and after paying the more than $18,000.00 for the job I should have a wonderful bathroom to enjoy. If I had to choose again I WOULD NEVER GO WITH REBATH. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERSING DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM RUN FAST!!!!!

"We apologize for the unfortunate circumstances that fell with your bathroom remodel. We are deeply sorry for the Oak wood grains being visible on your custom cabinetry. We sanded the Oak wood grains evenly on the cabinets & doors, thoroughly painted every inch of the cabinets inside and out, using over 6 coats of top-of-the-line paint. We will contact the custom glass company, who installed the custom shower door, and have them fix the issues that are occurring. We truly apologize for the downsides of your remodel, and we will get your warranty mailed to you this week. Please call us if you have any questions and we will take care of you."
