About us
Recoatings began in the Denver area in the early 1990s under the name Peters Flooring, during the city’s loft conversion era. We helped restore aging warehouses and industrial spaces through hardwood floor installation, refinishing, sanding, and restoration work that demanded both structural understanding and attention to detail. Many of those floors dated back to the early 1900s and required careful repair, sanding, and finishing to preserve their original character. Today, Recoatings brings that same craftsmanship to Boulder and Northern Colorado, providing hardwood floor refinishing, repairs, restoration, installation, and screen and recoat services with a focus on smooth finishes, durability, and long-term quality.
