Red Rock Fever Designs specializes in many areas of design, including residential & commercial interiors, custom window coverings, home staging, landscape consulting services. I have 23 years of experience in these fields so I decided to start my own business in 2015. I have worked for JC Penney Custom Decorating, Greenbaum Home Furnishings, Open Square (formerly Bank & Office Interiors) along with several Independent Designer's. I am very passionate about working with customers who want me to assist them in creating a space that will reflect personal style and budget.

Home Staging Service
Comment: Katy Fleming came to my house for an afternoon and worked with me to stage my home in a new and different way utilizing what I already had. I was amazed at what a difference rearranging furniture, figurines, pictures and rugs can do! After she left for the afternoon, I felt like the place had a "facelift". It is awesome. Other family members and friends have complimented me on the new look. I owe it all to Katy's good eye and great taste for decorating! Thanks Katy.

Kitchen Design Service
I was very hesitant about a kitchen remodel because I am not good at selecting/matching designs and colors together. From the very beginning Katy made me feel so comfortable and let me know that we could do this together. Katy took me to places that pertained to the kitchen remodel and let me select what I liked and then I asked her, her opinion and she was honest. The kitchen looks fabulous and looks a lot bigger and brighter than ever before. I am so thankful Katy was there for me and I highly recommend her services. We live on the North end of Seattle, and she lives on the South end, but that did not stop her. She is a super pleasant person to be around and knows her business.

Kitchen Design Service
Her design work is excellent, if expensive. Her choice of contractors is questionable. His work was mediocre being not licensed, bonded or insured, as we only found out after he had gone. He had an affinity for alcohol which appeared to prevent him getting to work before lunch/afternoon causing the work to over run by 3 times the amount stated. I objected to him cooling his beer in my fridge and despite being asked not to he persisted and became abusive and threatening when asked to remove the beer and himself.

"This was a very unfortunate situation. I had worked with the contractor before on a rental remodel and didn't have any of the issue's that are outlined above. This was supposed to be a fast track project and he knew that going in but didn't follow through on his word. Both the customer's and I were extremely frustrated, I spoke with him many times about these issues and thought that we were back on track. He has many issues managing his time on a project, communicating effectively with myself and the customer and respecting their simple requests on this project. I will not use him in the future due to his work ethic, quality and the ability to jeopardize my reputation with a customer. The customer's were wonderful people and very easy to work with so none of these concern's should have ever surfaced, he allowed it to happen and created more drama in the process. The fact that he is not licensed and bonded is unacceptable when remodeling a home."

Katy Fleming was great. She really helped us add some design and color to our condo. We really love our fireplace area and the reclaimed wood mantel. As well as the rest of our condo. We receive nice compliments! We strongly recommend Katy and Red Rock Fever Designs!

Katy is very helpful and very energetic and loves her work . The reason for lower rating is nothing more than the fact that after I had enough time to think about it, I just felt that we have a different style, that's it Plus my house was to host my brother's wedding guests so I didn't have enough time to properly communicate with her as well. I would absolutely recommend her.

"Thank you Jay. This project was very fast track, we met on Monday completed the changes in less than 3 days. Jay had family coming in from out of town and he and his wife were hosting the out of town guests. Our goal was to add additional seating areas, conversation areas, staging their existing furniture and accessories and adding some new items such as accessories, pictures, pillows and throws, candlesticks, etc. I can understand Jay's comment about the purchases not being their style. If we had more time then we would have been able make decisions and purchases in a more timely manner."

Bathroom Designer Service
I interviewed many designers and contractors before choosing Red Rock Fever Designs using the same question and photograph as my inspiration. Katy was the only one who got it instantly. She and I have worked together since then to actualize my vision. It's been a collaborative process and I've asked that she continue with a 2nd bathroom remodel and plan on using them to redecorate/remodel the rest of my house.
