August 22, 2026. Received a flyer in our subdivision, and decided to call. They came out promptly and gave us an estimate that was fair. They were in direct communication with texting and very professional. They called julie and took care of all the legal paperwork. They showed up 5 minutes early, with a very large true and 2 huge trucks. They took down (2) 35 foot trees. These trees were two feet from my fence and three feet from my neighbors fence, and 3 feet from my beautiful arborvitae and 5 feet away from 2 baby trees that I planted 3 years ago, knowing that these 2 trees would not last. I was so impressed with their professionalism and their precision and being able to take down all of the ginormous limbs and not taking out either of the fences or my beautiful landscaping. Terrific job, removing all branches through my yard without destroying my lawn-had a huge crew. Cleaned up everything precisely & ground 2 stumps immediately. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I met with Nick and discussed my needs and concerns. He gave me a quote and I signed the agreement. On the day of service Nick showed up before the crew. He asked for and received payment in advance. The crew showed up and all was going well until the end. There was one branch hanging over from my neighbors tree thar was blocking the sun from my tree and yard. Nick and I had discussed this. I asked the workman to trim it and he said he couldn't. I stewed over this for a week or so and then I contacted Nick and told him I was unhappy. He said he would drive by in the afternoon and look at it. I guess that he did not and he ghosted me. No response. For this reason I do not recommend Red Woodpecker and I suggest never paying a contractor in advance of the work being COMPLETED.

They were fantastic to work with from start to finish.

From the estimate to the trimming of the trees, everything was done very quickly , and they left the area very clean when they were finished.

The project required that four trees would be removed and the stumps ground down. They came and cut the trees down, but only did 2 stumps. The other two, they covered with wood chips and cloth. I discovered that only two trees were done a few weeks later and asked them about it. They said they would let the service know about it and I haven't heard anything else from them. If you pay for a service, you should get what you paid for. Apparently, they do not believe in providing the service that you pay for.

Fair price and they did the work the same day. Would recommend!!

They responded quickly to our issue, a large branch that cracked off our tree. They were able to clean it up quickly at a reasonable cost.

Phenomenal experience. Nick came out the day after we first spoke. Gave us an unbeatable price for the project we had. Talked on Saturday, job finished Monday at noon. The crew was outstanding. Polite, neat, and they busted their asses to get the job done. Would recommend to anyone! And will definitely use them again in the future!

I had a quote on Thursday and when I talked to them on Monday, they were out quickly to trim the trees and remove three bushes. They cleaned up nicely after the work. I'd hire them again without a question!
