I Signed a contract on may 31, 2007 for a 3 car garage, it is now October 23. Dawayne said that he would start after the check cleared. Since then he has worked 3 days: July 31 to remove some brush and a section of chain link fence September 12,13 removed dirt and leveled area with a bobcat. In the last 5 months he has set dates for work each week, does not show and does not call. When I call he has excuses and sets a new date in 1 or 2 days. There was two times when he was unreachable and did not return messages for an extended time( ~ 2 weeks ).

there were many days when he was supposed to be here and did not show up. Did not pay enough attention to detail, such as white switches and pllugs with beige cover plates. The estimate to complete the job was 7 to 10 days...the actual job took a month.

The workmanship was o.k. Primary problem was getting the job finished. Strongly suspect that the only reason it was is that I put a hold on the final check. They were supposed to return for additional work and finish the first job at that time. But when I saw them remove all their gear, I got nervous. The hold got them back to almost complete the first job, but they never have come back for the second job and I'm out the $400 deposit. They still were claiming that certain things were "special order" and they would take care of them when they came back "in a few days." I bought the items at Home Depot and did the very minor finishing myself.

He gave me a price for the job. The price was very reasonable. I also have another job for him replacing my attic stairs.

Not recommended; he didn't start the job but cashed our deposit immediately ; numerous delays; never returned calls. Made promises but never showed up. Still waiting a month later. I'd rate him at no star but the rating system requires at least one. The guy seems to be questionable reputation.
