My 91-year-old mother-in-law had to vacate her home for repairs following Hurricane Ian. During this time, she requested that we replace all windows and glass doors with hurricane-rated (impact) products. After receiving a bid from Stacy Butler of Reece Windows and Doors, we signed a contract for a total of $56,690.00. Unfortunately, in July, one of the newly installed windows shattered when struck by a rock. When I contacted Reece, Michael Sanders indicated they would replace the window. However, I later learned from the installer that the windows were not, in fact, impact-rated. On September 3rd, I spoke with Craig Clavio, the general manager, who confirmed that we paid for impact-rated windows and promised to provide a resolution. Despite multiple follow-ups, including several emails and messages, I have yet to receive any response. I have also filed a complaint with the Attorney Generalâ s office regarding this matter. This situation is particularly distressing due to my mother-in-lawâ s age and vulnerability. I feel we have been misled regarding the product we purchased, and I am deeply concerned about the lack of communication and accountability from Reece Windows and Doors.

I had many misgivings about window replacement since I'd heard so many "Horror Stories". However everyone was courteous & very easy to talk to & answered all my questions. The stars of the show were the installers. They were efficient, polite & helpful. they were VERY CLEAN that I hardly knew they'd been here except for my new windows. ALL in ALL I was very pleased with my Reece experience- All my worrying was in vain. Thank You-Thank You
