How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because I have always had a passion for building, from amazing tree-houses for my kids to incredible living spaces. I served in the United States Marine Corps and then served as firefighter/Paramedic for much of my career. My wife and I have enjoyed working on investment properties for the last several years and ensuring the highest quality of workmanship, which attracted the attention of friends and families who wished for the same quality of workmanship on their own homes. Our unmatched expectations and drive for exceptionally high quality birthed Reed Group Builders, LLC. We wanted to take our attention to detail and meticulous process in investment properties, to custom building creations for customers. We pride ourselves on integrity, delivering on our promises, and taking ownership for mistakes. We enjoy spending time as a family, being adventurous, and enjoying God’s amazing creation..

We do our best to salvage what we can during the demo process on the homes that we work on to donate to organizations like Habitat for Humanity.

Remodel or Renovate One or More Rooms

Rich and Anna provide the highest-quality work I've ever experienced, and were on time and truthful the throughout. We hired them for a MAJOR remodel in 2020 and are hiring them again (for the basement) in 2021. Their team is literally the best guys and gals ever - they were on time, respectful, efficient, and passionate about providing an outstanding product. Thank you RGB! Remodel a Bathroom

Highlands Ranch - We had Reed remodel our master bathroom, including floor and wall tiles; new cabinets and counter top; replaced mirrored closet doors and toilet; replaced faucets and all lighting. All their subcontractors did excellent and timely work . But, what made this remodel such a pleasant surprise was Anna. She took our ideas and made them reality. Anna constantly came over to insure all the work was done correctly and on time and made sure any changes we requested were implemented. We highly recommend Reed Group Builders/

Build an Addition

They were easy to work with. From initial consultation to final inspection, all a seamless process. They came prepared with an engineer to make sure the idea on the project could be done. I appreciate the constant updates of who would be at my home and when. Anna and Rich kept in contact with every detail and was quick to address any concerns I had. I absolutely am in love with my loft.

Remodel or Renovate One or More Rooms

I have been in real estate for over 15 years and have multiple rentals in different states. Reed Group Builders were by far the best resource I have ever found. They took care of everything when we bought our new home and handled every detail of our remodel. They found the best people and we got the best price for every aspect of our remodel. Every time we added a request they were right on it and really took care of everything. The customer service I they provided was above and beyond. I would highly recommend them and I already have to anyone looking for any remodel work no matter what the size of the job.

Build or Replace a Composite Deck

Reed Group Builders replaced an aging deck and installed speakers and lighting outside. They have an eye for design and quality craftsmanship. The entire process was stressfree, and we look forward to working with them again for our next project.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
