Top quality work. Rudy built a flagstone mailbox for me, it was such a nice job neighbors came by to collect his contact information before the project is finished. Luckily I was able to accommodate his work schedule and obtain a good discount from his regular price in return.

I had a mess from a a prior wanna-be guy that was not licensed but played it off that he knew what he was doing. I learned the hard way. Rudy, a licensed C-8 and general contractor partially sold me on his talent and experience. Meeting and working with him sold me on the rest. His price is in par with other licensed C-8 contractors. If they do not have C-8, don't higher them! Your call. Rudy is efficient, professional, and provided his personal insight on what works best. The finish product is great. His team worked withing the time framed agreed to. Thanks Rudy. My neighbors are happy, too.

the work involved creating 2 channels to drain water away from a building during heavy rains.it seemed obvious to me that the channels should be curved so that water flows down the center, away from the building walls, barajas installed a flat surface that didn't do so. the water would have sloshed against the building walls and would have defeated the purpose of the work. barajas went back to repair the work and I had to pay for additional materials that brought the cost of the project way above the highest competitive bid. He created a 1" slope and I'm not certain that it will be enough.

"The work involved creating a sidewalk on each side of Davids property. The property is a commercial building in which he rents out. David told me he lived in San Diego and if i could look at it and give him a price on pouring concrete in the sides of his property and to make sure water drains to the alley. He never mentioned creating 2 channels, i could not just assume there needed to be channels, nor was it in the contract because after all it is a sidewalk, and would be very awkward. I poured concrete sidewalks that drain perfectly to the alley, but he still was not satisfied. I added a V-gutter at material cost only for his peace of mind."

Refined concrete did an amazing job on my new custom stamped concrete patio. I had six estimates but Refined Concrete was in the middle, but Rudy's detailed estimate and before and after pictures was very impressive, and personnally inspected Rudy's past jobs, which is why I choose him for the job. Rudy was very conscientious and really listened to what we wanted to do. He gave us suggestions to address some of the conditions of our driveway which we're really glad we agreed to. He provided a comprehensive estimate and reviewed in detail the phases of the project. He and his team were really friendly and diligent. The driveway looks great and we're really happy with it. We got six bids on our driveway and we are so glad we chose Refined Concrete to do our job. Rudy and his team were all we could have asked for. They were honest, on time, professional, reliable, helpful, and experienced. Rudy was patient when we changed our minds about a few points. He was never pushy, just offered his opinion when asked and let us decide what we wanted. The work they did was exactly what we were looking for. We love it! I am very pleased with the concrete driveway replacement done by Refined Concrete. Work was performed in a very professional manner. Rudy and his team are friendly and personable. Rudy accommodated all requests, which he documented on the Agreement so they were clearly understood. He was always mindful of meeting our needs. The work area was always kept clean. Removal of the old concrete was done carefully and professionally. I am so pleased with the final result that I am recommending Refined Concrete to my family members. I am not usually easily impressed, but Refined Concrete far exceeded my already high expectations. Great job Rudy.

He gave us a very detailed estimate and did a great job. As any other project there were glitches. (Concerns about a property line. An unhappy back neighbor. Torrential rain.) Rudy did a professional job of managing around these difficlties. My wife and I and the neighbors are very happy with the results.
