Signed contract 2/28/25 to install 2 showers by 9/28/25. Paid $5k to loan company and still owe $11,827 whether job is done or not! Total scammers! Time wasn?t a problem but not being able to make contact or get call back is!

DO NOT GET MIXED UP WITH THIS COMPANY!! We made an agreement for a shower replacement in November 2024, work was to start and be completed by February 2025. This has never happened! After months and months of calling and text messages and voice mails, still no shower. As of 7/25/2025 they have closed the office in Springfield MO and the people we had been talking to ( if you could even get a hold of someone) are no longer acknowledging our messages. Jim Bennett's company entered into a contract with us for this bathroom remodel and took the money for it and not fulfilled his end of the contract. I have been given his attorney's number to contact on this situation, but have not had any luck on that end either. We are contacting an attorney and will be taking legal action.

hired on September 2024 to do a walk in shower. Paid 75% down. It was scheduled to be installed between November and no later than December. It is now the middle of June 2025! No SHOWER!! They have given us excuse after excuse. We even drove the hour and a half to talk to them in person. We finally got them to commit to a date in May. NO SHOW! No phone call! We tried to call again no answer. Found out they changed name from bath planet to American Reflections bath and spa. My husband drove the hour and a half again today and found out the place where they used to be is closed and the address they give for American Reflections is not legit he tried calling again for the 100th time and finally got an answering service. He asked for their correct address so he could meet with someone. She said they weren?t meeting with the public at the moment. We feel that we have been scammed by this business and it sounds like they do this a lot. We have no choice but to take legal action.

Update 8/7/23 on July 7. I reported a serious water leak behind the wall where the walk-in tub was installed. And as of today I have yet to schedule an appointment time for them to come and fix this. I now have a serious potential mold issue developing in my house in my house and tub is not usable! STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!! Jim Bennett, owner of bath reflections & spa (Bath Planet affiliated) based in Springfield, Missouri was rude, defensive, a bully & misogynistic man child during most of my experience with this walk in tub install and construction follow up. please review the attached pics to get a idea of the subpar and mediocre contractor(s) Bath reflections and Spa uses on their jobs. These pics are of work completed by subcontractor Joshua Johnson who Jim hired to come into my house to finish ongoing carpentry, and sheet rock issues that have existed since February of this year. This is the nightmare that Joshua left behind after walking out on the job on 7/6/23. It should be known that Joshua has been paid in full, but FAILED to complete the work. To start almost 3 weeks without electricity in three of our bedrooms! Crappy paint lines because he did not tape off. Permanent damage to 42 TV screen (2 deep scratches/nicks) , sheet rock mud splatter on my car, in garage, on front porch and driveway. Also mud splatter in house on furniture, file cabinet, carpet, on hard wood and tile floors, on 2 TVs, internet router, dvr, shower curtain, interior doors, and even on my former spouses cremation urn! Sheet rock dust everywhere on and inside of 2 TVs., Bose stereo system, DVR and router. Literally big chunks of sheet rock left and stuck on the carpet. Clearly, Jim Bennett and Joshua Johnson have no respect for other peoples property. Also, another contractor by the name of Rodney destroyed a towel bar which no one replaced. Joshua Johnson was too lazy to clean up after himself, and I spent many hours cleanin gand sweeping up behind after him. Jim Bennett at bath reflections failed to take ownership for Joshuas failure to complete the job! Joshua cut the electrical wires to the light and fan switch in the master bedroom for unknown reasons. And when it came time to reconnect, he had no idea what the hell he was doing! Was hiding in his car for nearly 30 mins doing internet searches to troubleshoot the problem! WTF?! It is still a mystery to me as to why he felt the need to even mess with the light switch in the first place as it was nowhere near the repair! Joshuas incompetence left my family in a dangerous situation (electrical and fire hazard) for almost 3 weeks! Please bear in mind that one member of my family is wheelchair-bound cannot walk and is also nonverbal due to a severe traumatic brain injury! This electrical hazard put our family at HIGH RISK and Jim Bennett did not care! Nor did Joshua Johnson! Jim instead accused me of removing wire caps. Bare wires I never touched (see pic). Caps that is were never there to begin with. He then proceeded to cyber stalk me on casenet Missouri!! And then tried to cyberbully me via email with criminal records of people with names similar to mine! For those unfamiliar with casenet Missouri, it is a website that houses criminal records and court cases of Missouri residents and surrounding states. Jim Bennett went so far as to search my name on casenet, took screenshots of records, and then forwarded them to me via email. I guess this was his idea of trying to humiliate, demean and belittle me. Funny thing is, the criminal records he sent me were not even mine! This bitter, disgruntled man Baby hates me so much to go to such extremes to harass me! Shocking considering I have already paid this ungrateful, spiteful man BABY $20,000 for a walk-in tub for my permanently disabled daughter!!
