- quoted 8 days for job completion, took 54 days - paint got on brand new carpet, and hid this - paint is incomplete and spotty - tried to charge for extra paint - tried to charge for moving furniture, when he was told we would do it, broke furniture too! - ruined over $100 worth of Fatheads in my son's room - refused to work on several days without payment, even though he had not completed required areas for painting, by his own plan. - worked several times into evening hours past 10 p.m., was asked not to work past 5 p.m. - totally ignored contractual agreement and tried to increase cost by nearly $800. Threatened legal action as coercion.

"Interesting review. As a working contractor all work quoted is an estimate. If there are additional charges it is because additional time and materials are required. Owner was asked more than 12 times to move furniture, personal affects and pictures. Fathead on wall already had 1inch tear before moved. Furniture ruined. Really? Owner specifically asked to move bed. Bed was reassembled by owner. Owner was asked to show what was ruined. Insurance would have covered any damaged if proven. Owner did not show any damaged alledged by contractor. Owner was asked if all paint was removed from all floor areas. Payments were late by weeks at a time."

Michael Ragans of Regency Custom Services did an excellent job on my hardwood floors. It was a pleasure to work with a contractor who was not only polite and courteous but equally detail oriented regarding the project. Mr. Regans, showed up when he said he would and if there was a delay he would call and let me know exactly what was going on. I would recommend Mr. Ragans and Regency Custom Service to anyone!
