"This customer called us to make a key for a front door lock for a house had recently moved into. Before traveling 45 mins to his location, we explicitly asked if he knew if the lock was functional. He did not. He also removed the lock himself to save money on labor charges. After initially inspecting the lock, I told him it looks very old and worn; and has a design that is discontinued. He decided to have us make a key for it regardless of its condition. We made the key and it worked. He decided to re-install the lock himself."
