RUN!!! Eric Stover was hired to install a metal roof and add structural stabilization to the barn. The metal roof is okay, but our barn is in worse shape and is falling apart. I tried to advise him how to apply the structural boards and he cut them up. Our job remains incomplete, but bullied us after 1-2 months of no contact for the remaining balance on the contract. Eric Stover removed property from us, admitted the items he took, then lied over and over about how he just can not seem to find them. Hired to work on the historic barn. He was to replace hand-forged nails with screws to hold the tin in place. His crew and I picked up all the nails his roofers threw on the ground plus what they collected in pouches and crew left them in a bucket beside the barn for me. I spoke with several of them and he told the others in Spanish. They all nodded they understood. His scope of work was to replace the nails, not remove them. We had a nice conversation about them being historic and we wanted to share them with the original owner of the property. Stover came on our property while no one was home and took his trailer but also removed the hand-forged nails. We have had multiple conversations where he flatly lied for several months about how he had so many places (porch, outbuilding, trailer, yard, land, you name it, he used it) to look at his home and when he ran out of places to look, he changed the story to his trailer broke down on the interstate and on and on and on.

I called Reliable Roofing and got an answer immediately. The owner offered to stop by the next day to give me an estimate. He showed up, went on the roof and explained what needed to be done and gave me a price. He returned the next day with his team and performed the work as agreed. Having hired others in the past for the same problem the quality was top notch. I know understand that previous roofers I hired took shortcuts or performed bad work. I will hire the Reliable team from now on for all my roof repair needs.

Project took longer than originally thought. Crew did good work but didn't communicate with me their comings and goings. Overall very satisfied with the work done.

I am not a roof person but the amount of money I paid for less than 1 hours worth of work is questionable. I was quoted one price initially then when it was time to pay I was given a higher price. Yes, he responded quickly initially, initial estimate was free and was on time but the amount of work that was actually accomplished and parts used doe not equate to what I actually paid for. If I had more time I would have shopped around. Again, I am not a roof person but priced paid does not truly equate to amount of work done and time spent doing the work.

I am satisfied, the work was done well and timely. MrStover introduced himself was professional and the workmen he sent completed the job to my expectation .

Spoke with Eric one day and he was out to give me a quote within 12 hours. Started work the next morning with a crew, stayed until dark and was there the next morning to finish the job. The men were nice and respectful.

Eric responded right away when I called him on a weekend with a leaking roof. He was very honest and professional, and the cost of the work was affordable. He was even able to install my new roof that same week! However, after the work was done, I had several concerns about how everything looked. I had a contractor come assess the work, and he noted two areas of rotten wood (sheathing) that should have been replaced before the new roof was put on. Also, the roofing nails were too big for my 1920s house, so the tips of the nails are visible on the outside of the house where the roof overhangs. Eric has agreed to come back and replace the rotten wood, but I am going to have to get a contractor to fix the rest of it. I do not know anything about roofing, but I would say that this company would be ideal to contact if you need roofing work done fast but you are not necessarily concerned with the cosmetic result.

I found him to be very unprofessional. They left trash on the AC unit, even though there was a trashcan nearby. They were not neat or professional.
