Water Main - Install, Replace or Repair
Reliant Plumbing worked on a whole home sewer replacement and repipe worth over $50k. Within my first year after completing, they have come to my home 4 times (and one no-call, no-show) for repairs. One of those problems was a bad solder joint that flooded my bathroom. They agreed to pay for the repairs but 4 months later, I'm still waiting for the reimbursement for over $7k. Buyer beware

This has been one of the most unprofessional service experiences I?ve ever had. The initial plumber barely inspected anything and immediately concluded the leak was from the washer lines. He also claimed he would check the main water line and replace the pressure regulator. Fast forward to Monday ? the repair crew showed up confused, not knowing what they were assigned to do, and attempted to leave without performing ANY testing to confirm the problem was resolved.
I had to insist that they actually run the washer and test the system, because they expected me to test it after they left ? which is absolutely unacceptable. I paid $2,200 and the plumbers didn?t even bother verifying their own work. When I questioned why nothing was being tested, attitudes shifted and I was met with irritation instead of professionalism.
To top it off, the technician responsible for testing simply walked out of my house mid-job without a word, while water was still running.

Jason did outstanding work today! Fixed multiple issues in downstairs bathrooms. Neither shower/tub combo mechanisms were working properly, so we installed new fixtures that we picked out--suggest that you pick them out if you don't want the very basic ones. We also wanted a handheld shower feature in one. The tub spout on one was difficult to remove and they had to use a saw, and did so without causing any damage! They added new drain fixtures as well. I love that they are full-service plumbing only and they do good work. They may not have the lowest prices, but quality installation does matter, and that's what we got! Our kitchen sink faucet had been leaking at the base, so they installed a new one we picked out without issue, and it looks great. Jason was very knowledgable, professional, and skilled.

I had a horrific experience with Reliant Plumbing Service. On 6/24/2025, I was at their mercy to accept a $495.29 quote to install a brand-new Moen shower cartridge I provided, due to a water shutoff leaving me no choice. It started with aggressive upselling?they pushed a $1,800 valve body replacement I didn?t need. The installation was a disaster: the technician hammered it in, admitting he shouldn?t, used spit as lubricant, refused my proper lubricant, and borrowed my needle-nose pliers. He ruined my new cartridge, which failed after two showers, leaving me with no water. I stopped the leak myself, but the shower remains unusable. Another plumber is fixing it for $150.00, and I later found out I was way overcharged?Reliant?s $495.29 ($661/hour) dwarfs the $80-$180 industry standard. It?s been 21 days since the job, and they ignored my 14-day warranty notice.Reliant?s ethics are nonexistent, violating Texas Plumbing License Law (Texas Occupations Code §1301.351).

I had a very simply project. I requested that they replace a toilet with one that I had purchased. I gave them all of the information regarding the new toilet and I purchased it and had it available for installation. They refused to quote the installation because their guy had to asses the situation . That should have been my first red flag. He came out to asses the situation" and started by saying the new toilet (for which I had already provided the information) was a single piece toilet that would be heavier and harder to install and would therefore cost more to install. I pointed out to him that it came in 2 pieces. He then pivoted to, this is not a standard toilet installation and would therefore cost more to install. Again, he did nothing new to assess the situation than the information I had provided ahead of time over the phone. His cost to remove and install a toilet was $550. I said I would find someone else to do the installation. Lousy bunch of con artists.

VERY POORLY AND HIGHLY UNSATISFIED AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
FISRT RED FLAG: ON DAY ONE THE RELIANT-WORKER-FOREST CLAIMED HE WAS DIGGING FOR 3 HOURS AND MY ADT CAMERA SHOWED LESS THAN AN HOUR!
HE LIED!!
SECOND RED FLAG: AND THEY SPENT MORE TIME WORKING ON THE CURB WHERE MY SPRINKLER SYSTEM IS AND I TOLD THE RELIANT MGR {MATT AND FABIO) MANY TIMES I HAD AN INSPECTOR FROM SAWS {SanAntonioWaterSystem} TOLD ME MY SPRINKLER SYSTEM AND THE CUT OFF SWITCH WAS NOT BROKEN OR LEAKING WATER! ITS COMING FROM MY GARDEN IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE!
EVEN THE RELIANT*MGR-MATT SHOWED ME RUNNING WATER IN MY FRONT GARDEN! {NOTE:ADT VIDEO RECORDER CAUGHT EVERYTHING} HE EVEN TOLD ME HE WILL REMORE MY SMALL TREE IN MY GARDEN FOR FREE!! AND HE SAID HE WILL GAVE ME A MILITARY DISCOUNT TOO AND YES I HAVE AN ADT VIDEO AND RECORDING HIM SAYING THAT TOO.
HE GAVE ME A QUOTE FOR $2800. AND I THOUGHT THATS HIGH TO FIX A LEAK AND HE SAID IT $395. AN HOUR TO DIG AND SO I AGREE TO PAY MORE THAN HALF NOW AND HE WILL APPLY THE MILITARY DISCOUNT LATER WHEN I PAY THE BALANCE WHEN THE LEAK IS FIXED! ALSO I EXPRESSED FIXING THE LEAK IS THE PRIORITY!!
ON THE SAME DAY- HIS WORKERS SHOWED UP LATER IN THE AFTERNOON, {RELIANT WKR.- JASON AND FOREST} I SUGGEST TO THEM -BECAUSE ITS GETTING DARK OUTSIDE HOW CAN YOU SEE THE LEAK- SO COME IN THE MORNING, BUT FOREST REFUSED AND KEEP TELLING ME ABOUT BYPASSING THE WATER LINE INTO MY ATTIC WITH A QUOTE OVER $12,000.
I REFUSED!!
PLUS... THE RELIANT MGR SAID I HAVE TO HIRE SOMEONE TO FIX THE HOLES THEY PUT IN MY ROOF AND ATTIC.
MORE RED FLAGS: FORREST KEEP TRYING TO PERSUADE ME TO AGREE TO THE $12,000. EVEN AFTER I TOLD HIM MANY TIMES- "NO-NO-NO!!!"

NOR DID ANYONE SINCE NOV.22nd,2024 FROM RELIANT HAS CALLED OR CAME BACK TO FINISH THE JOB AND THEY LEFT MY NEIGHBORS YARD IN A BIG MESS AND MOST OF ALL- THEY PUT NO REAL EFFECT TO FIND AND REPAIR THE LEAK AND PUTTING MORE OF AN EFFECT IN CHARGING ME MORE MONEY!!

We had a leak in our backyard that 4 other companies couldn't locate. Within 10 minutes of his arrival, Steven identified the leak and within an hour, he provided us with an estimate and fixed the problem. I can't say enough great things about the service he provided along with the company's expediency. I am so grateful! Steven is awesome and a great technician.

Replaced my outdoor faucet quickly that I couldn't budge with my tools. Answered all my other plumbing questions. Price was high, but I've never seen a plumber or electrician charge less than a couple hundred no matter how simple. I have peace of mind though with the year warranty.
