R and R runaway and retreat. This business is a dangerous company to get involved with. I contracted for a pole barn in Jan 2022, to this date the lumber has not even been ordered to begin the framing. I ordered windows which took 5 months and when they finally arrived they were ALL ordered incorrectly. They tried to push them on me and talk about taking a discount for the wrong windows. No thank You. I have since ordered from another company and they are installed and wonderful. I am a business owner and communication with my customers is very important, even when things go smoothly, just a little follow up and communication goes a long ways. The business owner here is a complete failure in the communication category. There were numerous days where he would refuse to answer phone calls or texts. I proved that he was ignoring by using other phones to call and he would answer right away. People would show up to drop things off without notice. The best was a port a potty he dropped off right in front of the main window of our home, we have almost 3 acres of property. That port a potty is still on our property by the way. I have a slab that was not poured to the contract, has fiber mesh and well over 40 cracks. I have email from the concrete supplier pointing on numerous errors by the concrete crew. I have a lot of money paid to a company that refuses to proceed and at many times tried blackmail and extort more money and signatures to release the stalled progress. This is not just a rant, I have all the emails, texts, and other documents to prove this egregious business behavior. Reach out if you have concerns

Run away now! Do not walk, but rather run, because this company is... unremarkable! A must-read before making a purchase decision. Project Grade: B- on the final product, F on the process, and C on customer service. We went with RRR/Remarkable for our project because we believed their website, which stated they achieve customer satisfaction in all areas, including timeliness, attention to detail, and a service-minded attitude. None of that was achieved in our project. NONE! The salesman sold us an "awesome" product and we did not find any negative reviews online. We realise now that we did not dig deep enough. Timeliness: We were sold a patio cover and concrete project that would take 2-3 weeks at most. Despite the late start, our project was scheduled to be completed by July 4, 2022. Actual project completion: 11/11/2022, 6 months total! Paying attention to details, there are numerous examples of poor workmanship, some fixed, some not, and some that cannot be fixed without great expense. Here are a few examples: 1. Posts are not in alignment. 2. The south side of the patio cover is bowed out. 3. Brand new concrete is stained and mismatched. 4. The quality of the post base trim is poor. Service-minded Attitude: Communication was extremely poor throughout this project. There were numerous days when no one showed up to work on the project as it was planned. We had to constantly ask for status. When delays occurred, we never knew how long they would be. We were told numerous times that things would happen on specific dates, only for the day to pass without any communication. When the concrete had to be torn out to move the mismeasured post, we were assured that we were the top priority, yet it took another 2 months to complete the project. Once again, due to no shows and missed dates, We did not feel like a priority at all and were very frustrated. As the business owner, PM, and construction foreman, Jake holds full responsibility for not achieving customer satisfaction on this project. Jake did not inspect the work on a regular basis and failed to notice his craftsman, who for some reason could not measure properly. Jake couldn't even bring himself to come pick up the final payment, instead hiring a "runner" to do his dirty work and threatening to put a lien on our house.We have zero respect for Jakes business model and practices. Ultimately, we feel we were treated poorly; our backyard was held hostage for 6 months, and Jake the Owner certainly did not  go above and beyond, as he claims. We regret doing business with RRR/UNREMARKABLE.

We like to do business in the local community and seek out veteran-owned businesses where possible. found the deck and stucco crews were absolutely fantastic to work with, and the deck is beautiful. In the interest of others making a decision to contract with Remarkable Roofing and Remodel (RR and R), I want to share our experience. Timeline: Contracted with RR and R on June 10th, the project was to start in 2 - 3 weeks, completed a week to 10 days thereafter, thinking it would be done mid-July. Project work started August 6th, almost 2 months later than told, had a change order after demolition which was to replace the beams. The project was completed on September 1, almost 3 months after the contract signing. The crew would show up for a few days and then miss several days, all without any notification from RR and R. Communication: At the time of signing, we were told a financing option of 18 months, with zero interest was available which was a factor in choosing RR and R since we planned to put our house on the market as soon as the project was completed. This was not the case and we decided to pay cash to expedite the process. All attempts to meet with Jake for a face-to-face to resolve the lack of communication, the schedule of payments per the contract and the timeline were ignored. Jake wanted final payment after the framing inspection was completed and before the stucco work. I stated that the project was not completed and that there was additional work to be done. He stated he wanted payment but that I could hold out the stucco portion of the invoice. The contract stated 20% upon final inspection, not framing inspection and I would adhere to the contract. Upon arriving, the stucco foreman determined that the framing was incomplete and he was unable to complete his work. Jake was notified. The decking crew returned to finish the framing. The stucco crew was rescheduled. The stucco crew came and completed the stucco work. Unfortunately, the stucco color match was very poor and I was unable to accept their work. Jake again asks for the final payment. I asked that he come out and see the problem for himself. The next day I received a certified Notice of Intent to Lien from Jake. Why would he be more interested in going through the effort of getting a certified intent to lien rather than meet with us to resolve the issue? After responding we would not make the final payment until the work was completed, two days later the stucco crew returns to blend in the color to my satisfaction and the final payment is made. Remarkable Roofing and Remodels crew did an awesome job on our deck. Management was awful! Service was late, communication was non-existent and Jake attempted to bully us into paying before the work was completed. If you want a great deck but are not concerned with timeframe, communication or follow-up, RR and R may be the company for you. Bill F. September 1, 2022

Jake, the owner of Remarkable Roofing and Remodel is an excellent contractor and communicator. He is timely and tenacious in acquiring and completing home improvement projects. Jake also ensures that the home improvement project is completed to the satisfaction of his customer. Customer satisfaction is his priority. I hired Remarkable Roofing and Remodel to paint the interior of my home - ceilings, trim, window sills and walls. The finished product is excellent. The painting was finished in a timely fashion and was beyond my expectations. My home looks amazing! I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them again for future home projects.
