Me Russell arrived early for my installation which is always an added bonus in my opinion. He was professional, friendly, and overall efficient, working clean, and since I’ve hired him last year, I decided to use his services again this time for another television installation. The job was to totally remodel my small bathroom. Eddie assured he had done many jobs of this size and complexity before. Our home was built in the 70's on a crawl space. I'm saying that because some floor movement occurs over crawl spaces, which contractors should know and expect when doing flooring. GOOD contractors, anyway. I'm overlooking a lot of things that I won't go into here, because I talked to Eddie about some of them at completion. Our big concern is the way he did subfloor prep for the furniture and tile. He used some type of red roll called Schluter Ditra for prep for the tile and to support the vanity. He told us this product was widely used in Europe or somewhere, and he used it a lot. We aren't professionals, didn't know any better and weren't given a choice of this or another type of subfloor. We've learned since then there should have been proper prep when subfloors installed, with cement backer board. What we're having now is cracking and chipping grout between most all of the floor tiles and we can hear movement of the tiles when we walk over them. We are going to have to take the furniture and toilet out and remove all the tiles and have the floor redone completely and correctly. No, I definitely would not use Remodel Tech again nor would I recommend him to anyone else.

Eddie does a good job. The project took a little longer than expected due to a delay in a previous project that impacted/interrupted my project. Once he got started he was responsive and professional. He is meticulous which results in a good outcome but takes a little longer.

Watch out, he didn't finish the job. He dented our stove and never brought the part back.
