Write a ReviewGreat service
Wonderful design and fantastic installation team. My completed kitchen remodel was done within 3 weeks.
Me and mom had 3 showers taken out and replaced with the luck-stone material for $59k. paid 20 k down and rest upon completion. job went pretty smoothly once materials were finally procured and a finish by date was set. They are okay, you cannot use any kind of suction cup devices on them, the little shelves fall out easily with contact, and no water pressure with the hydrofoil, we got 3 of them. pretty nice shower though and look great with the glass doors. the week or so before job began a salesman talked her into a walk in tub job for $29k and she gave him $5k down on it and we were at work at the time this happened. so toward the end of job when replacing the last shower the crew knew of upcoming job and removed the old garden tub. The evening Mom also had to finance the 2nd job. The night they finished 1st job and we wrote the check about 4 hours later my mom passed away at 1234 am. I found her on October 1st 2022. Worse day of my life. When I saw the finances etc I called remodel and cancelled the upcoming job as no need for it now and money not there for it. They sent their rep Michael Schuman who was very cordial and sympathetic and assured us there was no issue canceling as finance Co has no meat in it until completion paper is sign and assured us that the VP and President if this company already approved a refund it would be a matter of how much based on any work already done toward it. Which would only be an hour or two max for 2 or 3 men, and 2 water line caps. Michael also assured us that no materials nor the tub had actually been ordered yet and don't let anyone at the office try to tell us that. After a month of unanswered calls and messages I finally got the VP on the phone and he did exactly that, which I had accepted at the time as I didn't remember him saying that until my wife reminded me 10 jingles after the call and I told her about him saying that the costs They incurred by ordering a tub they cannot sell and materials left $1,400 as the refund. well after reviewing some Blink and Arlo clips from different angles and listening to what Michael was telling us made me remember he did say all that. so I began messaging this VP and sent him a couple clips and he has not responded as of yet and I left another message on his voice mail to call me. Nor did his office send the next day an email with a release form for the $1,400 as he promised would happen. of course that amount is not acceptable now as cannot be more than 300 to 600 of labor that was done toward next job. I hope he is not trying to keep a dead woman's money for a job that is not being done, and that he has simply been misinformed on the ordering of the materials and doesn't have someone in his company stealing from him. Either way, this should not be so difficult. They are the last company and piece of business dealing with my mother's affairs and the only one that has not done the right thing right away. very upset here but will not be me on judgment day has to deal with it. I have filed BBB complaint and just don't know what else to at the moment especially when no one talks to you or ever returns your calls. We should've listened to all the reviews in the beginning. Any suggestions where to go or what to do next would be appreciated.
didn't complete the job
This was the worst experience of my life! It took 7 months to complete the job for 7 cabinets (toral top and bottom) and 1 countertop! The subs did not clean up after themselves, and did not patch the walls... my husband did it so we could let the painters come in! The delivered the countertop on the day they were to start but never showed up. Whenever I tried to get in touch with my project manager I never got a call back. Even after talking with the president of the company there things did not get resolved. I was forced to get my flooring repaired by another company because they never returned calls. Unfortunately, I was forced to all the final payment from financing company go through and now I cannot get anyone to call me back to deal with the fact that the president promised me a discount and it has not happened. Save your time, save the hassle and certainly save your mind by skipping over Remodel USA
Excellent
Their pricing technique is very questionable and sorry that I went with them. The thing promised was not what the final plan was. Their communication is horrible.
Very professional and thoroughly completed the job to our satisfaction. Would recommend for sure!
After a super sales job by Dana on Oct 5, 2020, we expected the job to be started in approx 8 weeks (it was on Nov 23, 2020) and that the crew would stick with it until complete. The crew was very good and polite. They kept to themselves upstairs in the master bath (due to COVID and they wore masks) and worked hard to demo our old bath and prepare for the new install. The Kohler shower with a rolling glass door was completed without issues. We only received one of the 2 vanities we had ordered and received the wrong light fixtures for above the vanities. They did install the waterproof LV floor, which is very nice and what we selected. We waited for the second vanity (decided to go with the style of the first one installed, for expediency sake) and the correct light fixtures to arrive and then get the crew back here to Radford, VA. The foreman Memphis did make several local trips to get the wall paint, the ceiling vent/light, and the towel/robe hooks we would order originally but were not included in materials brought. Four weeks from start to (not quite) finish. The bathroom looked great and we were happy and paid the balance of the cost of the bathroom upon completion, on Dec. 18, 2020. Approx 2 months later we had a leak in the under-vanity plumbing which damaged our living room ceiling. Evidently, the nuts under the vanity were not installed tightly enough and it dripped until the under sink slide-out drawer was full and leaked out of the back of the vanity down the wall to stain the living room ceiling. We shut off the water source to the vanity until the crew came again to inspect and by then I had discovered a fine crack in the back corner of my vanity, which had to have either arrived that way or happened during install. That has to be replaced. Memphis looked at the leak and asked if we had any Primer. We did, and he painted the spots (L-shaped discoloration). The stains are still there as the primer did not cover the stain Waiting on the new vanity AND the entire living room ceiling to be repainted. Jim Plecker came on April 1 to view the damage and see the crack in the vanity top. He said that the new vanity would be ordered and he would have the crew back to install the same and repaint the ceiling. It is May 9 today and I have not heard back. I am waiting and will add an addendum to this review when the job is truly Finished.
Beautiful kitchen very happy
