Renew Crew is a family-owned company that started in 2006, and is based out of North Kansas City & St. Joseph MO. We offer a variety of services from building custom DECK AND FENCES, to cleaning and protecting all your outdoor surfaces. As a leader in the market for designing and building custom decks, all types of fences, pergolas and much more, we guarantee you'll be satisfied with the Renew Crew way. We specialize in not only building new but renewing the old. Our unique 3-Step Process is customized to renew your current deck, fence, concrete and wood sided home. In addition to renewing, we also specialize in pressure washing using a low-pressure method that can tackle any residential or commercial project. Chain Link Fence Installation
Contractor was always in a hurry and difficult to pin down. It was a long distance project which made the situation more difficult. I give him two stars because he did make the requested timeliness. Issues:
1. A gate was placed on the front porch when it needed to be placed on the side of the house. He indicated it was because of the drawings, but I offered to participate on a video call to ensure all the gate placements were correct, which he declined. He did fix it but noted he should have charged me an additional 450.00 to correct. As a result of the re-plcement the gate is not straight and there is an 6-8" gap at the bottom.
2. I asked that an apron be placed on the deck. He didn't do it. There is now a gaping hole that my dogs can escape and they have. He refunded me 150.00 because it would cost him too much to send a crew to finish the job.
I will not rec this contractor. He just books crews and does not properly oversee the work and has poor communication skills

I started getting compliments from neighbors, friends and family on Day 1. The fence is beautiful! I actually did not have a fence installed, I had my pouch rebuilt. My old porch was in disrepair and it was time to pull it down and start over. However, I had a heck of a time finding a contractor that wanted to do the job. I literally looked for several years to find someone who could do it, and wanted to do it. I finally found Renew Crew through a friend who was having his porch rebuilt. It was one quick phone call and I had a team of professional builders on-site and in 10 days my years long journey was over. I have not only a new porch, but one that is a modern design. It went way beyond my expectations. I'm really happy with Renew Crew, and I'll be using them for future projects, for sure.

The transformation was phenomenal! The guys made sure everything was level and straight. I appreciate the care and hard work that was put into the job. Got the whole fence completed in just about 5 hours. Not to mention, it was also completed under our budget at a very reasonable price! 10/10 Highly Recommend!

There was a little bit of a wait to get to us but boy was it worth it. The fence is so beautiful and gives a brand new look to our backyard. Workers worked their tears off getting it done in a day and a half. Clean up was good. But the yard looks absolutely beautiful. So much better than the picket fence we had

Owner Rob Howat and the crew he sent to construct our fence did an A+ job! Our yard is on a 30 degree slope and everything fit together. Materials used were top quality. We had them pre-stained and sealed before the install. The fence is built like a tank and looks great! Sure to be the envy of your neighborhood if they do one for you. Highly recommended! 😊👍

Renew crew knocked it out of the park and exceeded expectations! They built a fence and a deck for us. We ran into a couple of unexpected costs when removing the old deck of some rotting wood on the house. They fixed that as well and did not price gouge us at all. They also replaced a window and built a retaining wall that tied into our project perfectly! They were quick, and very efficient, but did not sacrifice quality. Chris, the carpenter is exceptional! I worked construction for over a decade and have not seen a carpenter as good as Chris! Rob the owner was a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable in his field and had great vision. I seriously don’t think we could’ve found a better company to build our project. They also beat out other competitive bids and started within the week. We love our new deck and fence. Again we are blown away by the quality and attention to detail.

Renew Crew was fabulous. I had a worry about a neighbor who had attached to my fence line without permission and then sold the home but Rob was easily able to see the property lines and fully replace and extend our 20+ yr old fence. Reasonably priced and exceptionally nice work. His crew made sure every gap was covered and added a new gate to each side as well. I am extremely happy with the fence and would recommend this company to anyone in need of fence work.
