Renew customer service sucks. The floor has a dip and is a tripping hazard. a waste of a lot of my materials. Ms. Deb does not have a clue and many excuses to not address my concern. floor is not finished. The owner never addressed my concern  I requested a different pattern for my floor and they did not have one, so I had to go buy my own flooring, and then I increased the price because I was going to buy my own flooring. Once I bought my own flooring, Tim cut planks wrong with lead to remove and replace them. This left me with a lot of money wasted and then they just kept making excuses. There are far too many lies and shady businesses. I never got a final word from Thur to address my concern. always late and never finished on time . Stay away from this company.

I hired Renew Flooring to refinish my hardwood floors in the foyer, hallway and dining room. The first team came out with a large sander and 2 helpers to sand the edges where the machine could not reach. They were going to come back in 2 days to stain but told me I would need to repaint the floor trim first. I knew I could not get my painter out in a day for a quote and book the job so they offered to paint that very next day. They came out painted and charged me a whooping $625 (which was not in the original contract). I got another quote from my painter for $300 + the paint, needless to say, I felt overcharged. They also charged me for 2 trans strips RedDak which they never installed or credited me for. They came out and stained and after the floor dried, there were round gauges and uneven stain areas plus the floor was not smooth or shiny but rough enough to snag my socks when I walked across it. I called and talked to the salesman to let him know I was not happy and he said, â I guess I will have to come out and look at it. He setup an appointment for the next day and never showed up or called. I never heard from them again. I did file a dispute and got back some of the money but am still out over $1,000 plus I have had 3 estimates since and the entire area has to be redone so I will be out more money. All 3 of the other companies told me to write this review because companies like Renew make a bad name for them. All I can say is buyer be aware.

The two teams that worked on my floor did an excellent job. They were able to work out problems that arose because of the condition of my floor gave me options. Everyone I talked to was knowledgably about the process and was able to answer all my questions.
