On November 11, 2020, Andersen installed three windows. When the casings, jams, and sills were installed the installer apparently had either some sealant or insulation on his fingers and left many white spots on the wood. These spots did not take the stain and now unsightly white spots are all over the woodwork on the window. Since Andersen considered the install complete, the issue is left to service to correct. New boards were ordered. A reasonable person would have ordered the same boards that were ordered for the install, but this is not the case. So on January 11, 2021, when the installer arrived to replace the jams, sills, and casings, he was missing some needed boards. More boards were ordered, but on January 18th after calls from us inquiring on the status, I received a call from Kevin in service. Apparently, the ordered boards did not come, so more were ordered, and they would come in two to three weeks. I asked for this to be referred to the management, and later received a call from Anthony, a team leader in service. I think after multiple missteps for a simple project, a management person should step in.

Anderson does not live up to their warranty. I had four Anderson windows Examined by their rep and they could not be removed because of faulty installations. Anderson refused to repair them under. The warranty. I would not recommend renewal by Anderson, since they to live up to their warranty. My brother has a similar problem with Anderson with the same response from Anderson.719
