Reno's Ceramic

My experience was not like the 5 stars from previous ratings. This was a 12 SF backsplash job. Mike was late every day sometimes 1-2 hours late. For someone who has been in this line of work fora a while, I found the work was sloppy. He removed the Sheetrock when he removed the old tile which was ok. When he installed what looked like left over scraps of Sheetrock, he did not ensure the joints were smooth and even. He installed the tile anyway and it was instantly obvious the tiles were not even with the others. Had him remove the tile and make the joints smooth so the tile would also be even. In one area when he removed the tile, he also removed all but a thin layer of Sheetrock. Instead of filling that area in with Sheetrock to have something for the tile to stick to, he instead piled on mud and taped those tiles to other tiles which did not hold. He installed chipped tile. I had to clean up after him every day. He wore his wet boots into my house, he left dried mud and grout everywhere. On the floor, on my granite countertops, on the cabinets, stove, faucet, etc. He placed his metal tile cutting tools directly on my granite and cut tiles. All in all I am very disappointed.

Mike did a fantastic job, we could not be more pleased. He came into the job after our last contractor departed suddenly. Unsurprising to us, there were several unacceptable short-cuts they had taken and Mike was able to fix everything and get us back on track. He laid a difficult hexagon tile that required 6 spacers per tile. The results are phenomenal, you can tell he takes pride in what he does, he really took his time and made us a stunning floor that we will enjoy for years to come.

I was in a bind. One bathroom house I needed the tile on the shower put up in a hurry. Reno Ceramic was here the next day. Got a quote he started that same day and did a service in my opinion above excellent rating. His work is exceptional and very professional. I would recommend Reno's to everyone who needs a job done with quality work. If I ever need more work on tiling I know who I will call without hesitation Reno Ceramic.

They installed ceramic tile on my patio, after installing backer board. The tile was laid in a difficult diamond pattern, and they created a work of art. Fantastic job. The tile floor looks amazing. Highly recommend.
