Renovations Plus Water Heater Installation - Disappointing and Unsafe Service We trusted Renovations Plus, arranged through Lowes, to install our water heater, expecting a professional job with safe, high-quality materials. Unfortunately, they cut corners by using a standard metal pipe instead of the required copper, likely due to poor inventory. As a result, we have been unknowingly using water with potentially harmful metal particles for our familys showers, dishes, laundry, and even our pets needs. We only discovered this issue when another contractor pointed out the improper installation. He also noted that some connections were left loose, causing leaks that needed tightening. Clearly, the installation was rushed and lacked proper oversight, which leaves us questioning whether they rely on mistakes like these to secure future maintenance work. To make matters worse, neither Lowes nor the third-party installer is taking responsibility, leaving us with an unsafe setup and no accountability. This is not the kind of service that prioritizes customers health and safety, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value quality and responsibility in your home installations.

Hired them through Lowe's. showed up late, didn't want to do the work. Never showed up again, gave me the run-around in text and wouldnt answer the phone. Stay away.

Dealt with these guys for almost 2 weeks and no one ever showed up. Multiple phone calls, multiple appointments scheduled, and nothing. These are the people that is going to come install your hot water heater from Lowes home improvement. Not sure why Lowe's would use such a shoddy company, but these guys do not care. It is an effort to even get them to answer or return your messages.

Was told they would reach out with an estimate. Was never contacted. Reached out to them 4 times still no estimate!

Renovations Plus replaced a leaky kitchen faucet, so it was a simple job but I still appreciated their work.

They offered me a number of options based on what I could afford. On site, they recommended an alternate fix that involved cutting through the driveway. They repaired the driveway at no additional cost. Very friendly and thorough. I have recommended them to neighbors.

Although this was a small job, I was impressed with the speed at which I received a personal call back about the work I needed done. He came out the very next day, confirmed what needed to be replaced, and replaced it in significantly less time than I had anticipated.
