Tile: Ceramic and Porcelain - Install
Matt the owner would show up for one day and skip out the next three days. His temperament is erratic, he fights with contractor?s, I mean almost fist fights to where people have to intervene. Quality of work is poor. Two inspections done and say need revision and below par. Very messy and damaged tub and cabinets below. This is the way he left tile. He will not call you back.

Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with…took on a huge out of the normal job putting up brick panels in a 1,700sq ft space. I could not be happier with the outcome and hope to be able to hire him again. 10/10 would recommend him.

I was very disappointed in their workmanship and how I was treated during the process. Numerous times I wasted hours waiting for them to show up. As far as the workmanship, my kitchen/dining area had adhesive and scuff marks all over, along with glue that can not be removed with materials the owner told me to use. My bathroom threshold is now a tripping hazard. Matt, the owner, asked me if I wanted a new marble threshold. I said we could use my existing threshold. After the job was completed, I saw how uneven the threshold was. He blamed me for not using a new sill…yet NEVER explained that using the old sill would create a tripping hazard. He also left a stain from a bucket on my hardwood floor. When I brought it to his attention (after he had already left), he stated that he saw it and tried to remove it…and that it wasn’t from him. He had removed my carpet from that area, and my floor was in pristine condition. No way did that stain come from me. He also left large scratches in my hardwood floor from moving furniture out of the kitchen and dining area. When I brought these things to his attention via text, he was verbally abusive…writing “I’m done call someone else I’m not doing the dramatic b*******. No helping people like you never happy and always something wrong”. In one text, he wrote he installed it 100% correctly, and two texts later wrote that if I want it done correctly to let him know. He knew it was a tripping hazard and is refusing to fix it. I promptly paid for his services and feel he has now ripped me off….along with ruining my original hardwood floor.

"Istart with explaining this is my dads EX girlfriend so just imagine someone with skitzofrenia was dumped by your father. Just low life you try and help and now this….review came two weeks after the job is complete paid for and signed off on after I told her the threshold would cost a little bit of money not for labor just for the threshold it’s off and I would come change it that wasn’t good enough and it sparked. This whole story now that she is angry that I told her I wouldn’t do it for free The only thing honest was the part where she admits that she wanted to keep the old sill. So a “WEEK LATER” obviously yes I had to charge to put sill/threshold in . Well that set the mental off. Now all of a sudden I’ve done everything but burn her house down . The hardwood isn’t scratched number one but even if it was, it is a known fact that it needs to be refinished because the carpet that we ripped up for free left staples all throughout the house but somehow surface scratches gonna hurt something she knows she’s having them refinished like she said she is very dramatic, and now that she didn’t get her way she was trying to bury a hard-working company with all good reviews that’s all I’ll say .This whacko watched us work the entire time . None of this would have been possible. Woman unfortunately has major mental issues . She refused to use a new threshold. So I told her she has to pay for sill and I’ll install it and she went on a 24 hour rant. I have the texts to prove this wrong ?? job is fine just like every other customer oh and the actual work we did which was a tile backsplash a VCT floor and bathroom porcelain all looks great. Everything else had nothing to do with us the free furniture moving the free rip out toilet vanity stove but I guess I don’t need to take credit for all that you’re welcome at least could’ve gave me a free star on the price?"

rep-TILE did a great job installing tile in our kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. The new tile looks beautiful! The job was much larger than originally anticipated but they adjusted their schedule to get all of the work done well in advance of Thanksgiving which we appreciated greatly. The price was very fair, they were easy to contact and work with and we would definitely use them again.

Absolutely phenomenal!!!! I got a call right away after submitting the job. Matt was very professional, fair priced, and even scheduled for me next day which is unheard of now. He showed up as scheduled and was kind about a setback because our living room was so cold that the flooring was hard to install. He was awesome to work with and the floor looks AMAZING! Highly recommend!

It went well, once Matt was finally able to come and do the work. He has a good sense of design and how to do tile layouts that look right. He talked me into laying out the 12 x 24" tiles in a stacked bond pattern when I had been thinking of a running bond pattern. It looked good, plus was a more efficient use of the tile.

I’d like to know how you select businesses to be recommended on your site. I got a real scam artist that I picked from your suggestions. It was Matt Diadato from rep-tile flooring. On March 22 I selected this business and he texted me his quote and requested a 200.00 deposit through Venmo. On march 24th my daughter submitted the deposit to Matt’s account. He was coming to my shore condo on April 1st, I texted him he said he would be there between 9 9:30. Texted me Thursday said he wasn’t coming Friday it would be Saturday. Saturday he texts me that he won’t be there Saturday his daughter was sick and he would do the job all in one day on Sunday. He told me he would deduct 100.00 from the job for the inconvenience. Sunday I sent him a text at 8:44 am, he did not return my text until 2:23 pm, his wallet was stolen on Saturday night at the casino, and got a new phone. Never showed up on Sunday. One wasted weekend down the shore. He texted me he was sorry and promised he would definitely come down on Friday April 8th at 8:30. Friday at 9:03 I texted him saying this is the second weekend you had me drive down the shore and you didn’t show up. At 10:14 he texted he was running late and because I questioned him about just send me a text if you’re running late, he decided to not do the job and would personally bring me the 200.00 plus an additional 100.00 for inconvenience. I told him just Venmo it back to my daughters account and I don’t want the extra hundred dollars. His last text to me was April 11 th that the Venmo transaction would take an hour and now on April 19th there is still no Venmo transaction. I guess he needs the 200.00 more than I do. This project has led me to never use Angie’s list anymore I will seek other means to find reputable contractors. Matt probably makes his business by stealing deposits from clients. I will make sure I post horrible reviews about him to Facebook, his actual website, and will definitely tell me friends look out for Matt diadato owner of rep-tile flooring and more, he is a scam artist and crook.

"The man decides to leave out where I came to his condo he wasn’t there after driving an hour. I rescheduled that wasn’t good enough then he proceeded to tell me I should work on his time even though he wasn’t there to open door. I said I’ll deduct the money even though he WASTED MY TIME. I have not one person over all these years call me a crook let alone over 200 dollars. I came the next week running late yes after him telling me all week I need to gain his trust after rescheduling. He texted me that I’m a crook and must have done this before and I’m a scumbag. I was one block away and yes turned around because he was being a complete controlling, condescending unreasonable HORRIBLE PERSON. He won’t be happy with any platform because let me promise you out of every 50 you get a crazy contractors deal with a lot also. 200 dollars shame on him for twisting that up people have to feed family’s."

Matt and John ate must hires for all your tile needs. Down to earth gentlemen. When I tell you it was a difficult Job, do to the old building conditions I am being generous. Matt and John took the challenge on and hit a home run. I have a brand new shower for a very customer friendly price. I will be using Rep-Tile again, not only for their stellar work but because they are good men and that's just as hard to find!!!Thanks guys.

Matt and his associate acted professional the entire time they were in my home. They showed when expected. Matt instructed me on what he will be doing and what to expect from him. They answered a lot of questions. He helped me choose the grout and even offered to pick it up for me. They began work and cleaned up everything and took all trash when they left. They installed backsplash and it looks great. I definitely recommend rep-Tile flooring and more. *His price was very reasonable too!

Mat also gave us ideas on how the tile we picked out would be laid out. He worked with us to work around our schedule as much as possible. Cleaned up nicely !
