I'm an electrician and between 2021 and 2022 I worked for Vy I finished several projects and I didn't pay for my work since I decided not to do more work until I finished paying myself but I never knew about Vy I owe approximately $12000, I left unfinished works which I finish and making deals directly with the owners. electricians don't work for VY DOES NOT PAY!!!

If I could give a negative star review I would. Vy Le (and his admin Lisa Rodriguez), and his subcontractor Roberto Rojas are con artists. They took 13k in deposits to complete work on 2 permitted projects in Denver. No material has been purchased and no work has been completed. The proposal signed was for RH but after some digging... the company does not exist. I became concerned and requested additional information. They (Lisa) provided two other company names for reference (Colorado Specialize Electric and Brite Life Electric). Neither has a Colorado presence. Lisa provided a screen shot of references for work completed in TX without context and scope of work described in the reviews was far simpler that the projects I hired them for so they were not applicable. General liability and work comp insurance policies were requested. Policies are fraudulent (expired, fabricated details). Insurance companies have been notified that they are committing fraud. I'm taking Vy Le and his subcontractor (Roberto Rojas - Ideal Plumbing LLC) to small claims court in order to recoup deposits paid as he has been unwilling to refund all monies owed to date. In short, DO NOT EVER engage with Vy Le, Lisa Rodriguez, Roberto Rojas or anyone associated with them. They are crooks. I'll be publishing this review for RH, Colorado Specialize Electric and Brite Life Electric (the 3 companies they are attempting to play shell games under) and Ideal Plumbing LLC. I've contacted 9 news Crime Stoppers and will be posting on social media (nextdoor and facebook) in an effort to protect others from similar experiences. Do extensive homework people... don't get bit like I did.

I wasn't in a rush with my project, but they were still able to come out for the initial quote and completion of work within 36 hours. Will 100% hire again!

Five months ago, we hired Vy Le at Residential Home Electric, LLC, who we found to complete a panel/service upgrade as well as some other various electrical work in our house. After several visits by electricians, over the course of two months, and a bill paid to Vy Le that totaled about $10,000, we discovered that the panel upgrade was not entirely completed and the part that was completed was done incorrectly. In addition, his team had done a significant amount of unnecessary drywall damage that has cost over $1000 to repair, and all the electrical work that had been done by Residential Home Electric did not meet any of the electrical codes and was extremely unsafe. A few examples of this are: In our attic, they left over 7 junction boxes open with live wires in them-a huge fire hazard. They stripped the big wires that fed the electricity to our house down to about half their capacity and left it all exposed and jammed into the exterior box in such a messy way that the box could not even close properly, and the entire thing was not grounded at all. The inside panel had neutrals and grounds all intermixed together on the panel bars inside the panel. They installed the wrong size panel Nothing in the panel was pigtailed, even though they were aware that the house has all aluminum wiring. Their apprentice took a Sawzall and cut a floor-to-ceiling trench in the drywall of our garage and cut part of the wiring that fed the inside of the house, and did not fix the wiring. The 3-way switches in our hallway were wired in such a way that they did not function properly, and they had to be turned on to get our bathroom fan to work. These examples are just a small portion of the horrible job they did in our house. The safety code violations list is very very long. After realizing the severity of the situation, we contacted Vy multiple times trying to get our money back since he did not fulfill his contract and the work that was completed was done incorrectly and was very unsafe. He responded by asking us to get a detailed list of everything that was wrong. Since we are not electricians, we decided to call the city to get an inspection of the work they performed. The city informed us that no permit was pulled for this job, so they could not do any inspection. So we had to call a private electrician to inspect the work Residential Home Electric performed and give us a detailed list and an estimate of what it would cost to fix all the problems Residential Home Electric caused. We contacted Vy, and we invited him back into our house to let him look at the damage that had been caused, and he sat at our dining table and admitted that some of the things were incorrect, but lied to our faces and said that the panel was fine. It was not fine. I had three separate electricians look at it and tell me that nothing about it was fine. However, we did get him to agree to reimburse us for the needed repairs. Because the electrical situation was a safety issue, we went ahead and hired another electrical company to fix all these problems caused by Residential Home Electric. The total bill was close to $13,000. After we had Vy over to our house to see the damage, we did not hear back from him. We have been attempting to contact him several times per week since that meeting and he does not answer or return our calls. Even the main business line will not pick up when we call. We eventually decided to use a friend phone to call and he answered. He said he would reimburse us half our money, and when we told him that half was not good enough, and that we wanted all the money we paid him back, he said he would try, and then we never heard from him again. I am writing this to warn the general public: DO NOT hire Residential Home Electric, LLC and do not trust anything Vy Le says.

The company responded quickly to my request. Work was carried out quickly. Post work cleanup could be improved. I am waiting for drywall repair through a company they contract work to and do not have a scheduled repair date yet.

We hired Vy to come out and install ceiling lighting and ceiling fans, they completed the work and I told them I wanted to have a generator installed that would operate the entire house including central air, Vy started the work in July and they finished the work in August, we were told they were done they did not start it up,we were told that they may have to get a plumber out to check and see if the gas line is big enough, we could not get a hold of Vy, so after 3 weeks I called another electrician and he started it up, the black smoke coming out was go black you could not see the house, Generac the generator manufacture will not warranty to work that Vy did because he is not an authorized dealer, when the generator was delivered it came with the proper oil in it, but came with 2 qts. of extra oil, we have been trying to work with Vy to have an operable generator that I paid for and they are not willing to give it to us so get the generator that we thought we were getting, we were represented to us that the system he was selling us was adequate to run the entire house

Very profession..explained the reason for all repairs.. I know enough about electrical to be able to say all repairs were justified.

The project was finished really fast! Made sure there was no mess to clean up afterward. Extremely friendly!

I hired them for my customer, I was told they were complete and they collected for job. i went and inspected it and it was not completed to code or even in a workman like manner. It was a new circuit for a new air conditioner I installed with a Denver city permit. The new circuit breaker was too large capacity for my new ac AND the wire it was connected to, this is a fire hazard and dangerous. The new Romex wire was 80% not stapled to the cieling they just strung it like Christmas lights through the plumbing and ductwork in the fastest way possible. Had I not known how code electrical looks like She (the homeowner/ customer) would have been burned, literally and figuratively. Mabe use them with THEM pulling a permit only. They can t be trusted to work unsupervised. Sorry. A bad experience with my second home advisor contractor. RH came back to make corrections after I told the how wrong it was, but should never have happened in the first place. This is the unfortunate truth.
