"This is a windy area and there can be issues with shake siding on the top course. We came out to the home multiple times for small issues and there was never a problem. I personally went to his home and told him I would redo all the windows to his expectations, just let me order new ones. He declined. I said leave these for now and I will do all new. He declined. The last service he had was a piece of trim came loose, I gave it to my service department and did not follow up, that was my fault. The service was a couple nails and a ladder to get to the spot. I called Saturday and was sending out my new service tech. He declined and told my rep. he hired another guy, I said send me the bill I will reimburse him. We came and serviced Steve every time he called (8 times) but this last minor service I thought my service guy did it but he didn't. This is such an unfair review. I can't believe Steve can get away with this, bringing my rating down based on a nail and a ladder. I hope it makes you feel good Steve. We will still be here when you call. Your siding was installed to manufacturers specifications, you have a warranty and you are spreading lies, pretty sad. We are not perfect but I do make it a point to service my jobs as needed. You had 8 very minor issues. Any one please call my cell at 518-339-9240 I can show you the completion where Steve was happy and the minor services we completed."
"Ken, This is really not fair. Anyone can call me and I would be glad to go from start to finish on all the work we did for you. I did all the work I could on your father's house. First off, you lied and said you owned the home and that is fine because you do have residence there. I did all of your siding and even changed the stone for you because you did not like the look after we did thousands of dollars of work. I had my carpenter there every day doing exactly what you wanted on the deck and step by step you were there and any one can call me and ask my son and my carpenter. Building the stainless steel wire railings takes precision and accuracy and we did it all to your satisfaction. We built you a 40 by 16 foot deck that went around a corner another 10 or 16 feet, I forget exactly because I don't have your file in front of me.The whole deck was made of the highest grade composite decking and rails with stainless steel cables laced through. Please, anyone call me to see this deck because I have pictures before and after. The front deck was also included even though you changed the stair plan and cost me another $1,200.00 dollars in stainless steel cable connectors. On the deck alone my material cost was over $30,000 dollars. Then I did your entire home with the highest grade siding with insulation attached. We replaced all of your windows with triple pane windows and you loved all of the work, you even signed off on it and told me my guys were great. The material for the stone and siding cost my company 15K or more and I can show any one that wants to see. That does not include the labor installing it. The windows are my most expensive too and anyone please call me for the bill. You know your home is at the bottom of a hill and you have major water problems in the basement but I sealed the new basement windows (the original windows were letting water just flow in) and built them up a bit with pressure treated lumber to stop the water flow. Your whole foundation is below grade, you know it and we discussed it. Then we did you foundation for the garage. The inspector said that I could just pour a slab that uses 1/2 the concrete and 1/2 the work but because you were on the mountain I went for the full footing and frost walls and I even bumped you up to a 6-8 inch slab. You know that we spoke before I poured the slab. YOU WANTED A BIGGER THAN NORMAL GARAGE DOOR! I had to keep the slab a bit lower but we discussed that I would put an apron drain in and run the water, if there was a flow, over to city drainage, which we were well above. This was your only option based on the garage door clearance you wanted. This is unbelievable how a guy, like you, a business owner, can lie and try to hurt me. Everything I did was approved by the code enforcement officer and approved. I even had the permit in hand and discussed it all with the code officer. You know I was approved for all the permits and you gladly paid, although I wanted to wait. You paid befo"
"you had special order siding, takes 5 weeks to get. I own it now. Thanks, but you are unfair. We did work for you in the past you said do hardie board no problem...I got the permit, and you never read your home owners association rules so we were stopped and I had to take it down.I still have that siding. Then you wanted wood, we ordered it and did it and you were happy. Unbelievable you try to hurt my company, you are a loathsome individual."
"First of all, the people you say are subcontractors, are people that work for my company. Based on the way they run their crews you have to understand that this is the way they want to get paid. I have 18 employees that want me to pay them through my payroll. Any one of the individuals that worked on your property are insured by me, their work is backed by me and anything done is my responsibility. You even said they did a great job but you have a small issue so you give me a 1/2 star? You never called me at 518-339-9240. I service and back all of our jobs. I am so sad that you would destroy my company here based on what you said was a "small issue". I guess there is no way to resolve this horrible rating but I wish you would reconsider. Thank you, Andy"
"Patrick was my gutter manager and based on this review he is fired and no longer works for Residential Improvements. It was his job to coordinate all gutter jobs and ensure a timely install. Thank you for your feed back. I am the owner and I spoke with you and I know my general manager spoke with you multiple times. You were given a great sale price for the winter and all of our great winter pricing projects the customer is asked to be flexible in order to keep out crews working and many issues pop up. Based on this review you were more than flexible. You say you regret working with us and that concerns me as many customers had opposite experiences with my company. I called and thanked you, I remember specifically. You received the highest quality job and material but feel as though trying to destroy my company on Home Advisor and Google makes you feel better. I just wish there was another way. Patrick seems to have been your main source of concern and you are not the only one. Just a bit of back ground, I am a disabled vet and so is Patrick, he suffers from the riggers he experienced as a soldier. I try to employ Vets when I can but it does not always work out. I am truly sorry for your experience, everything you mentioned is my fault and I will strive to ensure we get better. We will always be here at 518-451-9487 if you call. I apologize for your experience thank you Andy"
"Joe, we did everything you wanted, you wanted us to do screens in the spring time. Right now there are blizzards, also the window sash that failed based on the manufactures defect has arrived and the manufacture is coordinating with your friend the last I heard. I spoke with the manufactures rep. And he said all is fine about a month or more ago..... I don?t believe you are living at the lake house at this time of year so we don?t have access to the house. I don?t know what incidentals you are referring to? It is really harsh to score me that low on incidentals that you are talking about if I don?t know what they are....I re read the Contract and I see we met all of our requirements....please... If you call me at 518-339-9240 I will resolve any issue you have. We are not some company that won?t honor your concerns...I will take personal responsibility. My name is Andy The owner...call any time"
