They did a great job, but I felt they should have put plastic done to catch most of the dust! We had a mess to clean up after they left. Also, a little expensive I felt. But that was my fault , maybe, for not getting a second/third quote!

After having a myriad of grifters quote the job Tom came and estimated the bathroom. He sent me an itemized quote that I found reasonable and very proffesional. He was here when he said he would be and communicated with me on all aspects. The bonus is that I love my new bathroom!!!

We wanted to dampen the sound between the garage and the first floor. Tom engineered a terrific solution that was cost-effective and attractive by installing a second layer of soundboard on the ceiling. Tom is dependable, organized, neat, and meticulous. He is a very talented and honorable man. It was a pleasure to have him in our home. I would highly recommend him.

Very detailed work

Last year Karen and I remodeled our Den. We new that we needed a skilled carpenter. We interviewed several and choose Tom and Bill. We laid out the job which included building from scratch a fireplace Mantel duplicating a picture of one we had found. Also Crown molding; door and window frames. Their work was of the highest quality; their customer service was the best I have ever experienced; their work space was always prepared to protect and it was always cleaned at each days end. ALL of their work was spot on. They included my wife and I on decision points that were needed about the projects before they would move forward . YOU WANT BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU HIRE TOM AND BILL.

Tom and his son Bill did a job up dating our great room,the room was very poorly done by the previous contractor,my wfe and I really didn't like even going in there,it reminded us about the horror we went through with him.Tom and Bill did such a great job we are in there all the time.Thanks Tom And Bill the nightmare became a dream,we love our room.

Very professional workmanship

Tom was able to come out same-day for the work that we needed. I am sure he can t guarantee this in all cases, but he worked us into his schedule on very short notice. We had a few projects that needed attention for some time, and Tom was able to assess the scope of the projects and make repairs in a few hours. He brought everything he needed, and asked for our feedback along the way to ensure the work met expectations. Tom is extremely polite and professional, cleans up the work area unprompted, and left our home looking much better than before we hired him. Residential Preservation LLC - Tom Epperson and his son have set a high bar for me. This might be a lengthy review, but it is well deserved (and long overdue. My apologies, I'm just now coming to the end of moving to my new home!). Tom did some drywall repair I needed done for an upstairs bathroom. Immediately his work ethic and workmanship stood out. When I told him I needed the repaired drywall readied so it could later be painted because my next step to putting my house on the market was to have my entire home's interior painted, he asked if I was open to Residential Preservation bidding the project. Tom was up front that it would be a big job, but he was interested in doing the work. Residential Preservation LLC and another company came to my home to scope the work and provide a bid. Since I'm writing this review, I chose Residential Preservation LLC, and I am confident that Tom and his son's work is the biggest reason my home sold. This property was a 15 year old property and only two rooms had been repainted. But I also needed fresh paint on the trim, window and door casings, as well as some doors painted. On top of that, I needed caulk redone in various places too. Tom and his son worked hard and the result is hopefully in Residential preservation LLC's portfolio for prospective clients to see. They protected every surface; laid down floor shell for the wood floors, and put down protection on the carpeted floors. I was able to have all furniture and most items out of the space but Residential Preservation LLC made sure what I couldn't put in storage was protected. Each surface to be painted was meticulously prepped for painting- they sanded EVERY surface they would be working on. Walls, ceilings, trim, casings, and doors. I had some compression cracks that needed repair and after Tom was finished with them, it was like they never existed. I think the best praise I can levy is that I showed a friend the after and they told me, "That doesn't even look like the same house!' This was two week and a few days job for Tom and his son. But they prepped and painted over 1821 square feet of surface. Tom measured all the surfaces the project required, explained his process, reviewed the scope to make sure his take-ways of the scope matched what I wanted done. He provided recommendations for ceiling, wall and trim paint based on his experience and after choosing the color palette, I had a thorough proposal to review. Tom and his son were extremely detailed oriented, professional, courteous, and ensured to keep me up to date on the project's status. Even though the whole house was an active work site, they maintained keeping it orderly- which I found to be another testament to the pride Residential Preservation takes in the work they do. Tom even found places where trim needed to be replaced and any time he found something that could be addressed better than agreed upon, he let me know my options. He added trim to match the trim done in the dining area chair rail and it looks like it's always been there. The work they did to refresh the fireplace mantle made it look brand new. I can't recommend Residential Preservation LLC enough. Tom and his son care about their trade, their workmanship, and it shows in how they ply it. Residential preservation LLC, is easily my first call for projects to see if they would be interested in taking on the work. I have easily given friends Residential Preservation LLC's contact information because of the work they've done for me.

Residential preservation LLC, Tom Epperson and his son removed popcorn from the ceiling, in the kitchen, hall and laundry room. They covered everything up and made sure everything was clean before they left. They did a excellent job, was professional, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was attended to.

My husband and I bought a home in May 2019 that was essentially move-in ready, but had popcorn ceilings in all rooms but 1. We knew scraping the whole home would be an expensive undertaking, but really wanted to get started on it room by room. As we needed to have one of the bedrooms painted, I decided it was the right time to evaluate different contractors for the ceiling scraping. I am so thrilled with the work Residential Preservation did in the room. All communication with Tom, the owner, was timely and thorough. They did a great job with the prep work ensuring the mess would be minimal (frankly, there was no mess at all due to their attention to detail and great clean up after!) and arrived every day at 8:30. The ceiling itself looks amazing and made me super eager to keep doing the rest of the home! They also painted the room for me and the paint job looks great, as well. I'd love to hire Residential Preservation to come back tomorrow to start on the ceilings throughout the rest of my home! We'll be doing it room by room and will certainly hire Residential Preservation again as they were incredibly easy and great to work with.

Very excellent work done by Residential Preservation LLC. They really care about the quality of their work. I was not surprised because the entire process was nothing but professional from start to finish. Our drywall repair job was challenging due to the height of the ceiling. Not a problem for these guys! When they left, it was like they were never here! Spotless! The ceiling looks brand new. Just overall excellent quality contractor, and I would hire again, no problem.

Very easy to work with. All three men were professionals and their fine workmanship demonstrated the fact. Their attention to detail was outstanding.

Needed moisture repair to interior trim around skylights in cathedral ceiling and around one window. They arrived promptly (the next day!), set up protection for my floors on which to erect scaffolding and set to work. Now the skylights look brand new because they even cleaned them from the roof. The agreed upon price was more than fair, especially as some running around was necessary (for instance, getting 2 colors of paint). They even fixed some hinges on kitchen cabinets that I thought of at the last minute. They were hugely kind to my restless old dog who kept coming in and out under their feet. Hire this company! I will again.

They went out of their way to make difficult repairs on our wooden stairs and drywall as perfect as possible. They ended up spending a lot of extra time, beyond the estimate, which they did not charge us for. Very pleased with the work.
