What separates REST? We hold a builder’s license, asbestos abatement license and have fully degreed industrial hygienist on staff. Additionally, we have 3 State of Michigan Accredited Asbestos Inspectors. We are certified to manage asbestos issues in schools. We can teach various safety classes. We offer comprehensive tear out and clean up services. Our employees are W2 not 1099 subcontractors, which eliminates home owner liability. Our environmental contracting addresses asbestos removals, water extractions, mold abatements, dust cleaning, animal feces clean ups, blown insulation removal and installation, installing epoxy floors, crawl space clean ups, interior structure demolitions, fuel oil tank removals, mold, asbestos and allergen testing, related to residential and commercial structures. We initially hired REST Environmental to remove and haul away 1500 sf of tile and wood floors. We were so impressed with their work that we ended up using them for two other demo projects. Everyone on the team was hard working and professional, and Greg communicated with us every step of the way. Prices were very reasonable.

We would never have known we had such big mold contamination if we didn't get inspection from REST Environmental. They knew what they were doing and collected samples from different parts of the house. Highly appreciate their service. Greg is highly educated, and I wouldnt trust anyone else!

When I called the company, there response was very quick. They called back the same day and they scheduled to have Greg come out and look at the job site and give us an estimate. It was all scheduled very quickly. They did a great job!

My mom passed away and in the process of getting the house ready for sale. REST came out and gave me a full package quote for everything that needed done! I origionally thought they only did mold and asbestos, but they are licensed builders too! They performed demo in the basement, took out an old heating oil tank that was 1/2 full, removed all the basement tile, ripped out all the up stairs carpet, and even painted the basement walls and floor! Awesome service and I didnt have to make 5 different appointments with 5 different companies!

I called Restoration & Environmental Safety Technologies in a panic on a Friday because we were having carpet installed into our basement and the work was halted because there was what was believed asbestos in the tiles under the tack strips and the workers would not move forward until it was tested and cleaned up. Carrie called back immediately and set an appointment for the next day.I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Wonderful service top to bottom.
