I have 9 press back chairs that had various problems They weren't even safe to sit on anymore. (Many years of use and "rocking back" on by teenagers) Vince was so pleasant to work with, and has fixed them. YAY! They are very sturdy now. I am so pleased - I really didn't want to have to replace them, as they are a part of our family's history. So glad to be able to continue using them. So glad that I found someone with the skills to fix these!

I had an antique chair re-caned. Vince did an excellent job. He was very responsive from setting up an appointment to delivering a finished chair. I highly recommend him for furniture repair of any family heirlooms.

Vince is a master artisan in repairing and restoring all kinds and ages of furniture. He has incredible, hard to come by shop skills combined with an Antiques Roadshow grasp of woods, furniture history, when manufactured and often where. He knows how to use origin appropriate materials to restore, repair, or refinish without diminishing the value of the piece or spoiling it's history. He has restored and refinished my grandfather's table and some antique chairs I paired with it, re-glued and restored a child's small rocker from 1900, and mixed the perfect stain to make my new counter stools fit into my decor perfectly. His skills are legendary and the best in the state I believe. His sense of humor, honesty, and intelligent approach make collaboration on a project enjoyable and the results are amazing.

Vince was great to deal with. He and his staff did a very nice job and took great care in restoring a walnut antique chest of drawers, built by my great-great grandfather in the late 1800's/early 1900's. It needed a lot of work, as it had been abused over the years, but it turned out beautifully! I live 1,700 miles away and had to leave the chest in his care and trust that the work would be completed as expected. Vince was very helpful over the telephone, talking through the process along the way, sending pictures, and answering my many questions.
