Restoration Doctor LLC (dba FALCON ROOFING) - VA License Number 2705183802 - performed water mitigation in our home in July 2025. They claimed to work with our home owner?s insurance per company signage/advertising, but refused to continue dialogue or provide requested documentation for additional money (following initial payment of over $4k). In October 2025, they threatened to put a mechanic?s lien on our home, stating that we owed an additional $8k. We sought legal counsel after they placed a lien on our home, demanding between $8k-$10k. The lien was in one owner?s name, even though there are two owners on the deed. When we refused to pay to ?lift the lien?, they reduced the amount owed under the guise of a settlement. Following our attorney?s advice, we ceased further communication. In February 2026, they charged a credit card without permission. This is a dishonest company. We?ve sought legal counsel and filed complaints with the BBB and VA Regulation Dept. Do not hire!

Restoration Doctor fixed up our basement after flooding due to a heavy storm, and I would absolutely recommend this company to everyone with indoor water problems or general restoration issues. We are extremely happy with the service rendered by this company! As anyone who lives in northern VA knows, we've had an insane amount of rainfall recently (2018 & 2019) and our basement has been plagued with flooding due to the ground being over-saturated with water. Although we would try and take care of the problem ourselves over the past couple floods, the work was way too much for us to handle. This time around, we decided to call a professional company. We called Restoration Doctor in the morning and a very professional gentleman showed up within an hour or so. He hauled about 10 industrial sized fans and 3 huge dehumidifiers down to our basement. He knew exactly what he was doing and put our prior "DIY" work to shame. He came prepared with cleaning solutions that killed any existing mold, and he removed our (very heavy) wet carpet padding and disposed of it for us. He examined any drywall to determine which areas needed replacing, and he was overall a very honest and straightforward business person. Restoration Doctor is an extremely professional and competent company that not only took care of all our needs, but showed exceptional professionalism & a strong degree of empathy for what we were going through. This company was quick to show up, quick to fix the problem, and as mentioned, we highly recommend this company in the unfortunate event of water damage in your home.

I got quotes from multiple vendors, this one was the best. They did a great job following up and helping throughout the process.
