They did poor quality work, they installed the products wrong and now I am dealing with a leaking shower and a lot of expenses to have it working properly. I called the BBB and they can not get a hold of them and supposedly they went out of business and now they are operating on a different name.

Retrobath was quick to come out and give us an estimate. From there we were on schedule to start within a week. The workers were very professional and hardworking. A few days they even stayed late to finish the job. They were very thorough in every detail. We can't believe how well it came out. We're very happy with it and would highly recommend Retrobath!

I got the reference from Homeadvisor. I was dealing with Brian Nevins Co-Owner. In this challengeing COVID times had 2 meetings with him he sold me a deal for fixing the Shower area for $5K. We even signed the contract. But then when his Technical Manager came to take measurements, he said what Brian sold is not right and it won't fix the leak problem I have in shower area and they can't give any guarantee for the work and just left. No response from anyone. Unable to get in Touch with Brian since then.. Highly unprofessional folks, Make the sale and then just disappear..Please be careful what you sign them up for..

I think I got the only BAD project by this company. Everyone else I see had a stellar experience while mine was miserably frustrating! The estimator Dean oversold how great their team was. The scheduler Jordan was decent. The installation team was terrible to work with. They consistently showed up late and left early. Whenever I mentioned anything they were supposed to do (as written in the contract), their response was "you have to talk to Oscar". Besides that statement being annoying (because it was always written in the contract), it was insulting that they assumed I was always asking for some sort of free extra. Everything I asked them to do seemed like it was a huge problem for them. There was water damaged wood behind the shower, which if I did not call Oscar and demand it be replaced, they would have left the rotten wood and install the new shower right over it. I had new floor tile installed; they did not review the tile layout with me before cutting tile - highly unprofessional. They were to install a vanity and counter I purchased; they did not measure before installing and had to use flex piping under the sink instead of PVC because they could not make the drain fit properly. To add insult to injury on their last day (day 7) of a 5 day project, they were persistent to be paid whole; which I did thinking the job was done. They left the job with the shower leaking, the sink leaking, and the toilet leaking. (there were 1 shower, 2 sinks, and 1 toilet in the entire job). A separate team had to come back to repair all the leaks the installation team created. The team that came to repair the leaks were great though - prompt, professional, and answered all my questions. The repair team also asked who was the original installing team. Overall I would NEVER recommend this company which is sad because apparently everyone else loves them.

My experience with Retro Bath Makeover was very professional. Everyone I worked with, Jordan, Mike, Scott, Marko, were pleasant and exceptionally professional to work with. They addressed all my concerns and questions and listened when I had comments about how it would all work. Answered phone call promptly and called back promptly. Truly a good experience all the way around.

Retrobath was amazing! They were great to work with and completed the job within our deadline request. The entire job was done fairly quickly and was completed earlier than planned. I read the other reviews and the only problem with timing was getting the permits and inspectors out to do what they had to do. Love these guys. Jordan was always helpful, even though when he found out it was me on the phone, probably rolled his eyes. However, he was always polite, professional and when there was a glitch in the works, always went to work to correct it. I recently had a small addition put on my house by a different contractor, and Retro Bath is, by far, head and shoulders, above them. Oscar gave me some suggestions that I went with, and yes, it cost more, but that was my choosing, and I LOVE my soaking tub and heated floors. Thanks guys, you're pretty awesome.

Had encountered issues initially. The project started late than I expected it to be. There is a lack of communication and follow-ups. I had an issue with billing but did not receive the assistance I needed, instead, I had to call to resolve it for myself. Oscar was helpful enough to get the project right on after all the delays. When the project finally started, the guys who came out did above and beyond. They were very nice and did not exclude us from deciding how we want things done and situated.

James was an excellent salesperson. Knowledgeable, friendly and didn t waste our time with up-sells. We hired the company to replace our old tub and shower walls. We are very happy with the finished product. We did, however, have a few problems communicating with regard to scheduling, as others have mentioned. To the company s credit, they worked hard to resolve the issue quickly. The cost of the remodel was higher than many contractors would charge for comparable work, but in the end it was a worthwhile investment in our home.

The most unprofessional business I ever dealt with. We contracted for a new shower that they guaranteed would take two days, since this is our only shower in the house. Oscar came to measure but failed to tell us that the two days did not include installing the doors, which had to be ordered after the shower base was installed. When I questioned him about it, he said he told us that and that he had been doing this for 16 years and thatâ s the way it was done. Since we had already paid them almost $7K , we had no choice but to proceed. After much complaining, they installed a temporary shower curtain, and vouched that they would expedite the ordering of the doors. This was on August 25th, and we had to call several times to even get the guy here to measure. Four weeks later, still no doors, although my husband called almost every day to find out the status. Finally, they said the doors were in on September 25th, but when we called to find out when they would install them, Jordan said they broke in transit, but that now he could get us new doors in a week! As they knew we were leaving for two months, we had to wait until December to get the doors installed. And even that was not without problems. They said it would take two hours to install, but they got here without all the parts and had to go to Home Depot, and it took over six hours to complete. They did a so so job, and didnt even clean up after them. During this whole ordeal, we had to constantly call them. They NEVER called back after the first call. We had to track them down. However, after the doors were installed, they called immediately to get the rest of their money. This job cost almost $10,000, and we were treated very poorly. The workers who showed up had a not my job attitude when we asked them to help with getting the door measured here. All in all, I found this company to be dry unprofessional and would never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

They did a great job. A little communication issue in the beginning because they were late and no one called until we had to. But the work was suburb. Very knowledgeable. Def knew what they were doing! Job came out beautiful!

They also installed new stair treads and railing to the 2nd floor as well. We are extremely pleased with the results of both projects. They made a dingy cramped bathroom into a wide open space.

I was happy with the work done by the Retro bath Co. . They started my shower remodel project on time and completed it in two days. The quality of work was very good and the work crew was experienced, the office crew and staff was very professional and helpful, although reaching them by email proved difficult, had to call them directly a couple of times to sort out things. They just installed this shower 2 weeks ago - so far it looks fantastic and everything seems to have turned out great with a little minor glitch - the plastic fiber strip fastened to the bottom of the shower door came off after just 1 week, luckily I have some replacement strips I had bought previously for my previous shower - so I will just replace it. Other then that minor bit, I'm very happy with the shower install Retro-Bath did. I had gone thru 2 previous installers prior to them ( including Lowe's who totally screwed up my shower install ) So very happy I finally got an installer ( Retro-Bath ) who finally got my Shower installed properly !!
