My family trusts no one else but Rey?s Handyman. They are reliable, knowledgeable, and hardworking. We first contracted them when it was just one guy, and it?s been a privilege to see this company grow over the years. It honestly hurts us to see false reviews from people who feel entitled or refuse to pay, then get a lien placed and try to ruin the reputation of an amazing small business. Rey?s Handyman doesn?t charge an arm and a leg, but people need to understand?nothing in life is free. With prices rising everywhere, their rates are more than fair. Just because they work efficiently doesn?t mean their skill should be valued less. They?ve mastered their trade, and that?s why we hire them?because they know what they?re doing when we can?t. They?ve even answered my texts at 3am when my sump pump was acting up. They gave me guidance right away and showed up the next day since it wasn?t an emergency. CROOK!!! The absolute worst handyman in the world ever!!!!! Aaron took 3 months to finish a small bathroom. This is because Aaron Rey (Torres), only showed up on avg 2 x a week for only a few hours each time. Never put in more than 3 hours at a time. Aaron Rey (Torres) tells you he is on his way, only to no show you for days sometimes a week. Never calls you, just leaves you hanging. He has business under different names. Torres and Reys that is why I use both names here. Now I know why. From reading one of the post here, it Looks like Aaron Rey (Torres) was being sued from other clients for wait for it.... NO SHOWING!!!! at the same time he was working on my bathroom. The Bathroom Aaron Reys (Torres) remodeled, has leeks all over the place to the point it floods the floor below it. Aaron Reys (Torres), went from saying he would take care of the issue then no showing. Surprise, surprise, surprise - NOT! Aaron then claimed he would come and show me how the leaks were my fault …. you guessed it - NO SHOW again! He can not even show up for himself. I have had 2 plumbers, 2 Construction and remodeling companies, and a city inspector, that came to my house at my request. They told and showed me all the stuff Aaron Reys (Torres) did wrong. They told me I could have done a better job as an armature, then this loser did! Aaron used an illegal tool to crimp the copper pipes instead of using a soldering gun. This is what the inspector and a construction company told me about crimping. Not only does the bathroom leak EVERYWHERE to the point of flooding the floor one level below it, the tile floor mortar is crumbling. The Mortar manufacturer told me this only happens in 1 of 2 ways, improper mixing or not properly preparing the subfloor. The bathroom ceiling had such a bad leak that an area about 6 x 8 hung like a water balloon. when the water drained it left the ceiling showing a patch and wrinkled paint. He said he would come back and fix it..... you guessed it, he never showed back up! This guy Aaron Reys (Torres), is a loser from the get go. Kept telling me about all the women he has done work for who tried to bed him. As if any women in her right mind would consider a loser like him under any circumstance! Aaron is delusional! During the 3 months of working on my bathroom, Aaron had more excuses than caters has baby clothing. He told me the following excuses, he had 2 accidents. His 2 children had Covid 2x. He got Covid 2 times. His children and himself had the flu 2 different times. He had to go to Mexico because he had a grandparent die. He had a mother get into an accident etc.... These are actual excuses this loser used! In the 3 months he not once came the day and time he said he would. There was ALWAYS an excuses. S T A Y A W A Y F R O M R e y ' s H a n d y m a n Aaron Rey, Aaron Reys, Aaron Torres, Aaron Rey Torres, Rey Torres. He claims to live in Dekalb, but has an address in Aurora, IL, and a Facebook page in Naperville, IL. FYI.... His Facebook page he is asking for money! Of course he is!

Stay away from Aaron and Reys handyman service. They took 70% advance from me and never showed up for work. Aaron is a fraud on a run he will give you all reasons in the world for not showing up. We have followed up with him for over a month now and taking legal action... I have all text and email including invoice from him... Aaron is extremely unprofessional and most unethical person. We have experienced.. I can go upto extent saying he is a FRAUD on the run.

The team worked quickly and promptly. Very responsive and communicative. Good quality work, useful suggestions, and great little touches to improve the final job. They fixed wall patches, touched up trim boards, worked in stair trim, and adapted to all those discoveries one makes in home improvement. Aaron led an effective and very capable team. Complete replacement of front door, slab, jamb, and storm was icing on the cake. They cleaned up and left the place for better than they had found it.
