I have used these guys twice. The first job was rebuilding the chimney cap and repointing the rest of the chimney. They replaced the rotted flashing. The second job was a few years later on an early 50â s home. The chimney needed repointing and repair to the cap. They also repaired some areas in the stonework on the front of the home. Both jobs looked great when they were finished.These guys have decades of experience. I would use them again.

Excellent communication, noticed problems with what we wanted using google earth prior to even coming out to quote (nobody else identified the issue even in person) and had solutions ready. Saved me at least $1000 with that alone. Great value! Will use with any masonry work in the future.

At a time when materials were difficult to locate, Ryan worked hard to find what he needed to build for us a magnificent outdoor fireplace. It is stunning! The craftsmanship and the attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend Ryan for any masonry work you might need. He had the best price of anyone we contacted, the work was perfect as was the attention to detail. He had no problem explaining to us why he did what he did, answered all of our questions and also was very good at replying to texts when we sort of panicked on a thing or two. Highly recommended!

Did some tuck point and flashing repairs, and closed off a couple unused flues, for my chimney. They did a solid job in a timely fashion, with a competitive bid, with no surprises. Responsive to any questions I had. Also had Ryan look at other potential concerns with the chimney in the crawlspace, and he did look and found no issues of concern (so he's not out to make up work for money). No problem recommending them.

Very knowledgeable. The home advisor app isn’t working very well on iPad so forgive typos. They were very polite, reasonably priced and cleaned up after themselves. They completely rebuilt two chimneys and they look great.

BUYER BEWARE! First the good: Rhino's was by far the lowest bid out of three. Ryan and his crew were friendly and informative. Now the bad: after completing the refurbishing of the chimney in Janaury 2018, Ryan informed me he would need to come back after the rain stopped to apply the sealant It is now almost June and he has never come back. This despite multiple calls and emails and promises by Ryan that he would return. It can be difficult to find dry days here in the northwest, but I did my best to reach out to Ryan multiple times when the forecast was dry. At least he returned my call after I threatened to write a review. But then proceeded to blow off the appointment with no explanation. It pains me to have to write a bad review for anyone who is trying to earn a living and I gave Ryan ample warning before writing this review. Lesson learned that you should never pay in full for a job until it is finished.

Fantastic work. Absolutely perfect and all mess cleaned up in a tidy fashion. All 3 workers were personable and I enjoyed talking to them as they explained exactly what they were doing. I would hire them again for any masonry type work.

For having to deal with our Pacific Northwest weather, had to deal with the rain. Still the job was done and in a timely manor. Good Job..

I thought Rhino's was great until with the tuck point work but they never returned to seal the project. I called, emailed and text numerous times..but they never showed. I paid them for the services, even gave them a tip to make sure they would come back to finish the work. Feeling a bit ripped off

I enlisted Rhino's Custom Masonry for a chimney demolish and rebuild. They listened to my concerns and worked with me to get the chimney I wanted. Their craftsmanship is superb.

Worst experience. What a disappointment. 1. Ryan bid the work and started well enough. 2. When we asked him to complete the project, he said he was "too busy." 3. After several weeks went by he showed up only after I had to prompt him again. 4. He came in an worked for 1/2 day and then...he left the stone pathway torn apart, and a hazard. That was weeks ago. 5. Ryan even left a 50 pound bag of unusable concrete (that had become hard because it got wet) for me to carry to the dump. 6. My follow up calls to get the project finished went unanswered. 7. CAUTION: Don't give Ryan 50% down to start the project. You will likely be at a loss with an unfinished project, like I am...

I hired Rhino's to do repair on two fireboxes and add chimney caps in November of 2015. about 1 1/2 years later some mortar started to break off in the corners of one of the fireboxes. When they did the work they told me they had a 5 year guarantee for workmanship. I have tried to contact them for the last few months with no response. I finally set up an appointment through Home advisor but was told by them that they were cancelling the appointment when the company didn't confirm it and I never heard from the company. Home advisor did not show them as out of business and that they had jobs as recently as May 2017. Their work was good for the most part and the price was reasonable but they have not been responsive about the problem or shown interest in other work. In other words their guarantee is basically meaningless and they are unreliable.

I was happy with my chimney repair. The mortar was coming out in chunks. it looked as if you could pull a brick out. It looks like a new chimney, strong and safe. I would recommend Ryan.
